Ayia Napa

The contemporary Petrosana Hotel Apartments offer a welcoming and convenient base to explore the vibrant resort of Ayia Napa, located just a short walk from the resort's centre and ten minutes from the popular beach front, it is a fantastic choice for those wanting to take advantage of the tourist hotspots and coastal charms.

A great apartment complex in the heart of Ayia Napa:

The complex consists of 48 apartments centred on an attractive swimming pool area. Each spacious apartment blends a contemporary feel with an airy Mediterranean design; each have a kitchenette, fridge, bathroom, air conditioning, flat-screened TV, hair dryer, safety deposit box and either a balcony or terrace for laying out on after a long day exploring the resort. You will also find a multitude of amenities to take advantage of at the Petrosana Hotel Apartments including a good-sized swimming pool, children's pool, quaint coffee shop, pool bar, sauna, modern gym, volleyball court and free Wi-Fi throughout.

The key feature of the apartments is undoubtedly its location; a short walk opens up a fantastic opportunity to sample a wide selection of eateries ensuring you will never go hungry! For those looking for adventure, a fast boat safari is the perfect way to explore the coastline including fascinating sea caves; alternatively, take a relaxing boat cruise to Cape Greco and enjoy its serene beaches.

For a unique oasis of calm amid Ayia Napa's entertainment scene, head to the 16th century Monastery that adjoins the central Square, it is remarkably well-preserved particularly its centerpiece of a marble fountain in the courtyard.

September break

Review by 19andrea19Farnham, United Kingdom

Lovely holiday , booked this as I left it late for my usual place , clean tidy , bar area lovely we had drinks and food , only little thing while there is music all day , I think food stops early I think more people would spend time there till they head out , pool great . Location spot on a short walk to bar street , few places with in five minutes walk , the Chinese is lovely. I’d say it’s a little drive to Nissi beach , parking was tight but we parked a couple of nights on a bit of land next door , parking could be better few inconsiderate buggies taking up odd spaces but on the whole no big deal. Staff good shown to our room on arrival and yes I’d stay again .

Loved it!

Ignore the bad reviews. We could not fault this place. Huge apartment which was well kitted out...

Comfortable beds, I slept 10 hours the first night which is very unusual for me in a strange bed.

Staff were very friendly and always chatty.

Launderette facility was great. €3 for a wash and it was done in 30 minutes. Didn’t need to bring so many clothes. There was also a tumble dryer as well.

Yes you pay for the safe and the air con if you go with TUI but it is worthwhile having as even in October it was very hot.

Can’t comment on the food or the bar as we never spent any time in either. We spent most of our time exploring the beaches around the area.

Recommended restaurants Taipei Town ( at the bottom of the road) Vassos ( in the harbour) and Levanta and the Olive Tree in Nissi Avenue.

All in all a good holiday and the apartments were excellent. Is Ayia Napa for us? Probably not, getting too old!!!

Brilliant holiday, great value for money

Review by katiell5Harrogate, United Kingdom

We have just stayed at the Petrosana for a weeklong holiday booked through Jet2. The apartment was well equipped and spacious, with an attached balcony which had a table and chairs as well as a nice bathroom with the shower over a bath. As expected from the photos and other reviews, the double bed was two singles pushed together but we didn’t find this to be an issue...

Another point to note is that when booked through Jet2, aircon is included so we did not have to pay extra for that. The safe was around €12 for the week which we thought was reasonable. The housekeeper visited our room every day to clean and make the beds; we found the sink, mirror and toilet were often not cleaned but this wasn’t a major issue. The kitchenette was good and had all of the equipment we required - one suggestion for improvement would be to provide a mini bottle of washing up liquid with a sponge. The pool was lovely, with a gradient depth and a pile of inflatables provided; we found it was quiet most days and we never struggled to find sun beds. The pool bar was reasonable too; we only ordered drinks so cannot comment on the food but the menu had a good selection and the cocktails were nice. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Check out was 12pm but our transfer to the airport wasn’t until 8pm; we were allowed to stay by the pool if we wished and reception happily allowed us to leave our cases behind the desk which was a big help. In terms of restaurants we visited, Taipei Town down the road was a brilliant Chinese, and on the strip we went to Othello’s which is Mediterranean and Farmers Tavern which is good for an authentic Cypriot meal. If you are looking to have days out, the location of the hotel is good for a wide variety of activities. We enjoyed WaterWorld Waterpark, the Sculpture Park, Cape Greco, Nissi Beach, and Konnos beach, all of which are easily accessed on the 101/102 bus route with many stops along the strip (€1.50 per person for a single or €5 for a day ticket). We also booked the lazy day cruise on Aphrodite II through our Jet2 rep; this included transfers to and from the harbour and was a great day out. Overall we would highly recommend Petrosana due to its high quality rooms, lovely pool, and good location.

Perfect for what we wanted , clean fresh and a lovely pool , bar was nice as was food we tried breakfast, only thing is it’s a bit quiet round the bar it’s lovely and people may stay longer if it’s lively but that said it was lovely, few bars close by , chinese down the hill is fantastic ,plus a short stroll to the strip. I’d book again my second trip to Ayia Napa definitely not my last , I used air B and B last time but petrosana is lovely, parking isn’t great we used some waste land couple of nights .

Fantastic holiday

Review by Rebekkah HTiverton, United Kingdom

Stayed at this hotel for a week at the beginning of August and had a fantastic experience. Perfect location to the Ayia Napa strip and a short distance to shops restaurants and the beach etc, there is also a shop completely opposite or the hotel bar serves food. Rooms are basic but what more can you expect from a self catering hotel? They were clean, tidy and very spacious (better than some I’ve stayed in), the maids would come around every day to either change the bedding or provide fresh towels. Facilities in the hotel are all clean, and yes you have to pay for air con but this is common in most hotels...

All of the staff were amazing and so so friendly !! Special mention to Laz and Laura on reception who made our holiday ! And of course our Rep Erica! Who helped us with pretty much everything.

We had a lovely holiday and would deffo return!
