The hotel was exceptional one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Cyprus.
Fabulous location, a lovely walk along the seafront. All the staff were very pleasant, polite & attentive and extremely helpful...
We stayed in a standard room, the bed/pillows were comfortable, the room was very clean & the shower was good too.
Amazing breakfast and dinner with plenty of choices.
Definitely will return there again.
the hotel was recommended by friends, rooms were clean and staff were very friendly, we loved the location, just by the beach and within a walking distance from cafes and restaurants, covid measures were implemented, staff wore masks and all spots and areas were sanitized regularly,
This has to be the worst hotel my wife and I have EVER stayed in ,,,,faulty towers would be a 5star in comparison to this,,dirty,,rude and arrogant receptionist,,,floors when we came out of lift filthy dirty,,see attached photo,,I shall let you make up your own mind as to what it is.....mmm I reported it to reception, asking if they can get it cleaned,,to be told abruptly No !!! As they had no staff to do it,,,,mess is still there the following morning,,,please give this place a miss,,,,,absolutely awful ,,,ps breakfast was dreadful too
For anyone thinking of staying at the Flamingo hotel Larnaca, don't! I stayed between the 6th -21st of April. I was flying daily out of Larnaca int Airport.
First and foremost, the hotel only turns the hot water on for a few hours in the late mornings and in the late afternoon. Not too good if you like your shower or bath or shaving done with Luke warm water.
One can understand the problems of keeping an hotel open during the pandemic, but at least when you advertise the hotel, state that the rooms do not have hot running water.
Apart from one very nice and very embarrassed manager, the other senior managers and staff just compounded the situation by constantly making silly excuses.
When I asked to be moved to another hotel, I was told that they would not refund my payment...
Also I would have to pay their commission fees to Hotels.com.
Cyprus in general and Larnaca in particular are amazing. Just the Flamingo hotel is a place to be avoided at all costs.
I’m a choreographer. I’ve spent my adult life traveling the world. Never before have I had a receptionist be prepared to cause me to lose my flight by refusing to call me an early morning taxi...
My crime was to choose a cheaper taxi service than the one ordered. A presumed order by the way. So here I am on the street with this cold receptionist telling me I’m on my own. Happily ready to destroy my day and my journey for a €15 fare. When by chance a taxi passes by from another pick up. I wave him down in front of the receptionist and then bid this horrible woman a happy farewell. The taxi driver was everything this woman was not. Polite friendly and accommodating. If my impression of Greek hospitality was this woman, as a tourist I would never return. Fortunately the taxi driver renewed my faith in good people. Don’t use this hotel if you want to be treated properly. Or maybe consider firing the receptionist? She is not a people person. Written at 5.27 am July 29 2021 at the airport. No thanks to her.
