Radisson Beach Resort Larnaca

The location of the hotel is good, but unfortunately the entire area around it is full of construction work, which affects the overall experience.

The hotel itself is not bad, but in my opinion it does not deserve a 5-star rating. I would rate it closer to a 3-star hotel.

The breakfast was very good and tasty. I have no complaints about the food.

The rooms were comfortable, with some being larger than others. However, the housekeeping was disappointing. There was dust under the beds and on the bedside cabinet. On two separate occasions, the room was not supplied with basic amenities, and I had to call housekeeping to bring them. This happened more than once, which shows a lack of attention to detail. Considering the price charged per night, I expected much better service.

Parking was another issue. We were only told on our last day that there was an underground parking garage. Until then, we had been parking outside because we were never informed about it.

The biggest disappointment was the service on the day of check-out. I requested a bellboy to help with our luggage, but I was told there wasn’t one available because they only start work at 7:30 a.m. I then asked the receptionist for assistance, especially since I was traveling with a young child and luggage. His response was, “It’s not my job. I work at the reception. Take the trolley yourself and bring your luggage down.” He made no effort to help at all. This is not the level of service I would expect from a hotel that claims to be 5 stars.

Overall, the hotel has potential, but the level of cleanliness, communication, and customer service needs significant improvement to justify its 5-star rating.

We stayed at the Radisson Beach Resort for 5 days, and unfortunately, it was a very poor experience. I absolutely do not recommend staying there. Here is a breakdown of the issues and poor service we encountered:

• Ignored Room Requests: We made two separate reservations over a month in advance, explicitly stating that we were traveling with one-year-old babies and required adjacent rooms. Upon arrival, we discovered we were only placed "on the same floor." The staff showed complete indifference to our prior requests.
• Subpar Dinner & Hidden Costs: The dinner is absolutely not worth the extra charge. It is entirely unaccommodating for vegetarians and vegans (I personally had nothing to eat except for some soup). Absurdly, despite paying extra for the dinner itself, no drinks are included—not even basic table water. Everything requires an additional fee.
• Unacceptable Room Service: Although we had three people in our room, we were only provided with two towels. On our first night, my husband stepped out of the shower and had to wait over an hour—calling reception three separate times—just to get an extra towel sent to our room.
• Severe Noise & Misinformation: One night, the hotel hosted a wedding. Despite management's claims that the event was held at an "external restaurant/bar," it actually took place at the hotel pool and was operated by hotel staff. We were assured the loud music would end by 10:00 PM, but it continued into the early hours of the morning, repeatedly waking our babies. The reception's response that night was simply that "there is nothing we can do, speak to the manager tomorrow."
• Appalling Management Response: After a terrible night, we went to speak with the manager the next morning and were met with total apathy. She claimed there was no need to notify guests in advance and that it was basically "our problem." Out of sheer frustration and helplessness—facing a manager who offered no compensation and showed zero care for paying guests—my husband slightly raised his voice (to be clear: he made no threats, was not aggressive, and did nothing inappropriate). In response, the "manager" stood up, declared the conversation over, and threatened to call the police. Threatening to call the police on a frustrated guest who simply wants answers is completely unacceptable.

This is just the tip of the iceberg from a 5-day vacation. Where is the customer service? Where is the desire to keep guests satisfied? Unfortunately, we will never return to this hotel or any of the chain's hotels in Cyprus. I highly recommend that management conduct a serious refresher on customer service for their staff, and remind them that without guests, there will be no one to pay their salaries at the end of the month.

The hotel and especially all the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome all the time.Quality of breakfast was very good. Pool looks great, nice shapes with mini green islands around.I will recommend this hotel for holidays and also business trip.
