Amore Hotel Apartments

Mum & daughter recently stayed at Amore Hotel Apartments and unfortunately the apartment we were given had multiple maintenance and cleanliness issues which significantly affected our stay.

The electrics tripped twice during our stay. Several lights didn’t work, the hairdryer didn’t work, and only one of the two hobs was usable. The fridge thermostat was hanging loose inside, the bathroom sink tap was broken and didnt match, and the bathroom door did not close properly. There was mould around the bath area and what looked like rubble behind the toilet, along with a dirty toilet brush and generally dirty floors on arrival.

There were no laundry facilities available, no iron provided, and only one usable plug socket in the bedroom. The coffee table was broken and there were no washing-up items supplied in the kitchen.

The self-catering facilities were poor.

Maintenance work was taking place during our stay with loud banging at times, and there was also noise from other guests. The bath plug did not work, and there were no English channels available on the TV.

We also attempted to use the pool but felt uncomfortable due to the way male staff were watching us, which meant we didn’t stay there.

Overall, the apartment did not feel properly maintained or prepared for guests and did not meet expectations. We feel these are basic standards that should be addressed. No housekeeping either. We had to ask for extra towels as was only given two.

From looking at photos online, the apartments and the area looked decent but we had a very different experience.
