Nice stay
We booked this as a cheap and cheerful 7 day break, we have stayed here a number of times over the years.
Pool area and the main block have been renovated and it looks lovely,
However, please be mindful because not all of the complex has been renovated as yet and the Bungalows are still the old style Andreotis.
Hands down this has the best pool I have been in, in Cyprus it’s a brilliant suntrap and the water isn’t freezing which makes it comfortable to be in .
Good in CJ’s was great same as it has been in the past.
Only downfall would be, outsiders coming in to use the pool, creating havoc and behaving like pond life, the hotel is not aware of when this is happening so it’s not their fault as it is something they can’t 100% police.
Air Con - Come on guys still charging for Aircon locally and then only allowing one key incase people leave the card in, is very 1980’s and it was disappointing to be charged for something that should really come as standard in a country that reaches 45-50’
Book a late check out! I thought “nah we will use the changing room” never ever again, there was no hot water to the showers and I had to have a freezing cold shower which I thought was a bit of a stinger so if you don’t pay the late check out your showering in cold water.
All in all would definitely return and looking to do so next year for another cheeky week.

Enjoyable holiday
Gardens improved around the pool new sunbeds if you can get one. Rooms are cleaned most days with fresh towels. Not every one’s cup of tea but we like it already booked for next year
Homely and perfect location
We stayed in a superior studio. Huge comfy bed, fabulous bathroom, great air con (pay extra). Had everything we needed. 3 improvements would be a clothes drier on balcony as there was no way of drying your beach towels, such a shame draping them over the beautiful glass. A hairdryer would also have been handy and a set of instructions as to how to use the tv, aircon and safe. These are minor things and just suggestions to make it even better.
The sunbeds are the comfiest I have ever sat on. Pool was lovely.
Staff are all amazing, friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their faces.they all work so hard!
CJs food was great and all the staff friendly and welcoming. Just wish the chairs had cushions on them, we would have spent more time there in the evening if they had.
Location of this hotel is brilliant. Central for bars and restaurants and beaches.
It was good to see that while we were there towels were removed from numbers that had been reserved!
We had an amazing 2 weeks and didn’t want to come home. We will def be back!
Blue slush awful Vs Jay Mercury amazing
Do not let your children drink the slush it is absolutely full of food colouring I had 2 and let’s say coming out it was vile!! I thought I had something seriously wrong apparently it’s intense amount of food colouring and I only had 2 blue tropical Ones. Pool was ok Jay Mercury was amazing however atmosphere was not a pool party sadly
2 rooms, one great and one poor. No help with suitcases.
Good location and near to strip, bar across the street. Atmosphere relaxed. Paid for air conditioning but not too expensive for the week. Family of 5ppl split in two rooms, a larger room for 3 and standard for 2. The larger room (superior) was a bungalow on top floor, had no help to carry suitcases to 3rd floor and apartment was very tired looking. Air conditioning wasn’t very efficient for the room. Lots of ants entering room. Second room (standard studio)was a re furnished apartment and lovely. The air conditioning worked fabulously and seemed a larger room altogether. Thought it very unfair that 3 members had to stay in the old room and 2 in a new apartment and all paid the same amount of money to stay there. Value was good if you land on a new apartment only. Cleaners changed towels every other day but tidied every day. Only got 1 bath towel and 1 face towel each for 2 days. Not too much noise, was near main road but not too bad. Service at Cj’s restaurant which is attached was good and the food was lovely. Few of the waitresses looked fed up and complained they were not very happy there. Think they needed support from their employers more! Otherwise a lovely place to eat. Lots of entertainment around the pool and music was great. Lovely pool area and nice quality sun loungers. Overall a good holiday, would stay in hotel next time as we like to have equally nice rooms. 3 star experience and good if you just want a base to explore locally.Bus takes you straight to Ayia Napa and water world.
