Excellent all round
Loved our stay at this hotel on a half-board basis. The food was very good and varied. Our room and the hotel were spotlessly clean. The hotel is situated in a quiet location and just 5-10 minutes walk to the beach. We were well-served by helpful and friendly staff. A special mention for Maria who looked after our room brilliantly and did some amazing towel "sculptures"! Also the ubiquitous Androniki who was particularly friendly. We will certainly be back.
Disappointed
On first impressions the hotel matches the advertised pictures, however once inside hints soon fall into reality, the staff whilst appearing polite seem to think guests are staying just to be a nuisance. The design layout is poor as for example when using the pool the nearest toilet is down 2 flights of stairs in the basement, not suitable when you have wet feet. The buffet style food was quite poor and in fact reminded me of an army cookhouse during a lone leave or stand down period. The walls separating rooms are poorly constructed so during a quiet night you can clearly hear your neighbours using the facilities or even being intimate
Perhaps it might be advisable to look at a different location
Honest review
Hotel looked amazing on Jet2 website, and when you arrive it looks fab, but on closer inspection its already losing its shine. Towels changed daily if asked, and beds made but not entirely sure sheets we're changed in our 7 days, and balcony floor never swept. Pool is freezing but once you're in its OK. Staff don't really interact that much and look pretty miserable. We went AI and drinks are table service only during meals, we waited over 20 mins 1 evening for someone to take our order, and it wasn't that busy. Food is edible but repetitive but always plenty choice. No outwith hotel food or drink allowed round pool area, which seems odd for a hotel that offers different board options Not much happening for kids. No pool activities for them, but we stayed 3rd week of October so may be different in peak summer. Communal areas nice and modern. 20 min walk to Protaras strip which was nice, lots of choice for food and drinks. Bus to Aiya Napa €3.75 for 2 adults and a child, these are every 10 mins or so. I'd recommend the hotel for a couple or some mates but not a family. Protaras itself is nice and a hotel closer to the strip would be more suitable. Station pub and Tipsy Turtle pubs beside hotel had a good atmosphere and decent choice of drinks. All in it was a good last minute holiday. We paid £1200 for 7 nights AI which I think was about fair.

Fantastic stay at this wonderful intimate hotel
Currently sat on the balcony taking in our last few hours before flying back to the UK.
We arrived late last Thursday for 9 nights as all inclusive guests. We were welcomed by wonderful staff and the bar remained open late especially for us. All staff have been very attentive and can’t do enough for you. However there are a few I really must mention…
Isabella in the restaurant, Alex behind the bar, Gabriela on entertainment and Tomasz the kitchen manager (who took me into the kitchens to show me how ALL food including their wonderful deserts are made fresh daily. The inclusive option was very good and enjoyable on most days. Typical a inclusive but with a personal touch. Plenty of sun beds around and the hotel is still full. The manager is always floating around ensuring everyone is enjoying their experience.
The rooms are a tad smaller than expected, however, the cleanliness and modern design of the room make up for it. Not really much to complain about at all. Two very, very minor points - no shelf in bathroom for typical toiletries to be placed which some may find a nuisance. The balcony is made of toughened glass enabling you to see views all around. However, the balcony light could do with being raised as nighttime lighting is extremely low and does not allow for night time reads/cards etc!
The manager was extremely kind and sent us complimentary fruit and wine - for absolutely no reason which was a lovely touch.
Protaras is a 10 euro trip away or a 20 minute walk which is a beautiful strip running parallel to the incredible beaches. I’ve seen some lovely blue seas in my years but wow… it’s incredible! Definitely worth a trip.
Having seen so many grumbles in reviews before I came - I truly don’t understand why. It’s been a beautiful experience.
Thank you to you all for making my first trip to Cyprus so wonderful.
I will most definitely return to Cyprus AND would highly recommend Bohemian Gardens.
