Flamingo Paradise Beach

I had my toes done by Fatima, and it was fantastic! She was so sweet, and did the service very good. I had a wound on one of my toes, and she was being very careful with that. Overall great service, and I am very happy about the results. 10/10!

Just got back from a 1 weeks stay in this hotel and we have enjoyed most parts during our stay. We chose to do bed & breakfast during our stay and normally went down to breakfast at 9am in the morning, some mornings this was quieter than others, however the breakfast area can become quite overwhelming as the coffee and drinks machines and near to all the food area, resulting in wait times etc. The lady who greeted us for breakfast was lovely and the waitering service to clear dirty plates was quick. One thing I would say is that the man who work behind making poached eggs, pancakes, omelettes and the pitta and halloumi needs a little support, maybe 2-3 people working in this area as it’s a lot for one person to deal with and with the waiting time for the food you wanted. Hats off to the one man who did this though, the omelettes were amazing!

The location of the hotel was right on the Protarus strip, with plenty of lovely restaurants, bars and shops. We particularly enjoyed meals from Happy Days, Raj Indian restaurant, Sonjas, All American ( This was amazing, I would advise booking) and we travelled to Raviollis ( a perfect Italian), 10 minutes in the taxi whilst also visiting Cliff Bar in the Grecian hotel opposite raviollis. The best bars to visit for drinks are Flora Bar, the owner (Taz)is very friendly and is great to chat to. Ripples bar is also a great bar to drink in. We also watched a drag show at Diamond Showbar, free of charge, this was so funny, we loved it.

We spent most of our time on the beach and for a family of 5, the sunbeds cost €20 for the day. The pool area was nice and the staff around worked hard to bring drinks and take orders. I do wish the pool was a little cooler though as this did not cool us down at all, more like a hot bath. The sun was very intense though during the month of August! I would say that the hotel could do with a little bit of calm music around the pool, some kind of instrumental for example. I also really missed doing aqua aerobics in the pools, there isn’t any form of entertainment in the day time and very limited on the night time in the hotel, but as mentioned the strip is next to the hotel. Just got to say the mango slush from the hotel is amazing. I believe it’s €7 for a medium sized slush but it’s so worth it!

The hotel rooms were clean, the towels were fluffy and the beds and pillows were extremely comfy! The cleaners were friendly and always greeted you with a smile and a morning!

We would recommend this hotel and would come back to Protarus! We had a lovely weeks stay with lots of memories made. Thank you!
