Golden Coast Beach Hotel

Staff friendly and helpful, check in speedy and efficient. Food good and some dishes excellent. Room clean. For me the biggest downside was the fact that as soon as you went outside all that could be smelt was cigarette smoke. I was surprised to see people sitting around the children’s pool smoking and at times the smell even drifted into the restaurant. This for me spoiled what could otherwise would have been an excellent experience.

Yet again, another fantastic 10 days at this hotel. Rooms, staff, facilities, restaurant all fantastic. This year was our second visit to this hotel in September. (Previously visited 2025) Nice to see some previous members of staff who remembered us and to meet the new staff. All very pleasant and polite. Kept us ladies topped up with drinks. Set tables for breakfast for us when busy etc. It was lovely. Would just like to mention the following staff, Ashindu - very pleasant as always -remembered us from last year, Eddy from Rwanda -very new but remembered our drinks from day one and Zach he was also new this year, but all very pleasant and had a little time to chat with us. All being very professional and courteous. Over at the pool bar- Rakesh and colleagues were great, always had a smile and a laugh. From reception to cleaners, to restaurant staff and drinks staff always had time to acknowledge you with a Good morning, Good evening and how are you. Did a couple of outings from this hotel- Varosha on the red bus tour with Get Your Guide. This was a good tour ample time to see empty buildings and the famous beach. Kourion the Ampitheatre and mosaics in Limassol, and the harbour and castle, then onto Larnaca and the famous church. Well worth the taxi fare and escort for the day ( cost between four of us). Also used the bus to go to Ayia Napa and the Hard Rock Cafe for birthday cocktails. That reminds me, must mention Pardeep in the restaurant as my daughter had secretly told them it was my birthday and they gave me a big slab of chocolate gateau with a candle and sang happy birthday to me. Thank you Pardeep and the Manager on the night. The hotel also put a plate of fruit and bottle of wine in my room wishing me a happy birthday as well. Nothing is too much trouble for this hotel and staff. Sadly not sure if will be returning next year but you never know.
