Grecian Park Hotel

Hi My patrner & i have been going to the grecian park hotel every year since 2002 we can only it gets better each year

Excellent stay, professional staff and great facilities/service as always! The right place to relax and indulge your self with great restaurants!

I don’t even know where to start! This hotel and its staff is 10/10 and we would definitely come back.

The staff are so attentive and efficient, even in the high heat. You can order food and drinks by pressing a button on your parasol by your sunbed and they will come and bring it to you and you Can pay card, cash or charge to your room. The food was lovely and fresh and the drinks were so refreshing. We also had the pleasure of a man coming round in the afternoon with refreshing cold towels to help cool us down and this was a lovely bonus! The pool was the perfect temperature and very spacious. Lots of sunbeds, we did notice people putting towels down early around 6.30am and not using them until maybe 2pm which is unfair on other people staying at the hotel.

The food at breakfast was fresh and very plentiful. Something for everyone and even a gluten free section. The times for breakfast are 7am-10.30am so you can have a lie in if you like. However, it does get busy after 8-9am but there is a sign on the door to tell you the quieter times to visit the breakfast buffet. I can’t comment on any other food as we only booked B&B. 2 nights of our 10 night stay, we went to Raviolis over the road from the hotel and the service was excellent and the food was some of the best I have tasted. Prices pretty good too. We did room service at the hotel one night and the food was amazing! Good portions and the lady who delivers it was lovely!

I have to give a special mention to the blonde lady at the pool area, sometime serving ice cream. She was always happy and smiling! I didn’t get her name but I hope she is there next time we visit.

My partners birthday was the day after we arrived and after we came back from a day at the pool, we came back to a bottle of bubbly and a lovely happy birthday message which was such a lovely touch.

Every evening someone would come to with a little chocolate for each of us which was so kind! We loved this!

Konnos bay is near the hotel and you Can walk down some steps to get to it or get the hotel buggy if you don’t want to walk. The beach can be very busy so you need to get there early.

We travelled to protaras most nights by bus which is 2 euros each way unless you travel after 9pm which is 3 euros. You can get the 101 to you protaras on the other side of the road and 102 to Ayia Napa the hotel side of the road. They usually come every 15 minutes but sometimes some of the buses didn’t come. Protaras is 15 euros in a taxi from the hotel if you don’t want to use the bus.

The ice machine was so welcome especially in the heat and the free bottle of water in the room everyday!

We had a late flight back on our way home so we checked out at 12pm as no room for late checkout in our own room. I stayed in the lobby and put the cases with a staff member on the desk. I managed to sleep on the sofa (not very professional of me but i wasn’t feeling well!) and my partner used the courtesy shower room which is said wasn’t too bad.

The lady in the shop was lovely and welcoming too.

One thing I need to ask: what washing powder of fabric conditioner is used on the towels ? It is so nice !! And the lovely smell in the lobby as you walked in.

We had room 512 and the view was outstanding - a whole sea view !

The only things I would say negative about the hotel were that the iron in the ironing room was sometimes left on which is health and safety issue and it also didn’t work very well. Next time we will bring a travel iron but a new iron would be recommend or iron in the room. The other issue was when the maids would clean the rooms, they would bang the doors and it can wake people up if they are sleeping in late. Some guests would bang doors too late at night.
