Sunrise Pearl Hotel and Spa

We have now stayed at the Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa three times, and every visit has confirmed for us why this is truly a five-star hotel.

What we particularly appreciate is the exceptional attention to detail and the little touches that make the whole experience feel special. The system with the reserved umbrellas and sunbeds by the beach is excellent, as it means you can relax without having to worry about finding a place every morning.

The service is outstanding throughout the hotel. We especially appreciated the room service and the evening turndown service, when the room was prepared for the night and a small chocolate was left for us. The staff would also check whether we needed anything else, which is a lovely example of the genuine care given to guests.

Around the pool, fresh towels were offered to help you cool down, and complimentary small fruit bites and little fresh juice shots were also offered during the day. These may seem like small details, but they make a real difference and show the level of attention given to guests. The underground parking is another very useful facility, particularly during the hot summer months.

The L’Occitane bathroom amenities are of excellent quality and another lovely five-star touch.

Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. The buffet offers an exceptional variety, with some dishes changing every day, so there is always something different to look forward to. There was a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, delicious pastries and savoury choices, including quiche Lorraine, as well as a member of staff preparing fresh smoothies and other special treats. Every morning seemed to bring a new little surprise.

Dinner was equally enjoyable. One of the great advantages of staying here is the opportunity to dine at a choice of at least seven restaurants within the hotel group. Reservations are naturally required, but having the possibility to enjoy a different restaurant and style of cuisine each evening is a fantastic concept and avoids the feeling of eating in the same place throughout your holiday.

After three stays, we can honestly say that the consistency of the service is what impresses us most. The hotel combines a beautiful location with excellent facilities, wonderful food and, above all, genuinely attentive service.

For us, the Sunrise Pearl is truly a five-star hotel in every sense of the word, and we would have no hesitation in returning again.

Our second visit to this hotel and it’s just as good as it was the first time. We stayed here 3 years ago and so many of the staff are still working here which is so nice to see. Clearly happy staff! So many guests are repeat visitors too which also speaks volumes. I know most reviews for this hotel are pretty much the same - it’s fantastic and you’ll struggle to beat it - and it’s quite literally as simple as that. Stunning views, amazing food- both on-site and at the near- by restaurants that the hotel has access to, a fabulous location with beautiful beaches and just the most incredible service from absolutely each and every single member of staff. The staff make this hotel, they really do- and whilst I do have my favourites - every single staff member is so very welcoming, professional, warm and kind. I broke my ankle whilst we were there and the fuss, kindness and extra level of care and attention I received was so lovely. Reception sorted my hospital trip, all transport, provided a wheelchair for the duration of our stay and allowed us to keep our room until it was time to leave- without any additional charge.
