We would like to thank Andreas and his dedicated team for another wonderful holiday at the Cynthiana Beach Hotel. We have been staying at this amazing place for 16 years, many times twice a year. And this time was extra special as our son got married there...
They had a wonderful wedding and all their quests loved the hotel with its amazing views and sunsets.
It is always like coming home with the fantastic staff always willing to assist with any request. It is a wonderful hotel and we are already booked for September. See you all soon.
Jeff and Fran
This is a privately owned hotel and not part of a chain and boy can’t you tell. It is the the only hotel I have ever gone back to as I was so impressed the first time. The staff are first class and many have been there for many years so it is almost a family affair when I revisited
The setting is idyllic and well looked after...
The rooms are really nice and well looked after. I will be going again and I recommend this hotel to you all.
We recently went to this hotel for a relaxing get away. We had booked half board. The outside and reception area looked lovely...
We arrived at 02.30 we didn't get any help from reception had to take our own cases up alot of stairs, not a big issue but in the middle of the night being told to follow this corridor then turn right, go up stairs then turn this way that way getting lost etc only to find the next day that there was a set of stairs and a lift two doors away from our room. Guests throughout our stay banged doors every night. Staff were very nice. Lady who worked in nearby shop very helpful. Food. Ok same buffet every morning. As we were half board we were looking forward to the evening meals that was a disappointment we have to say. We ended up eating out every evening . If you have children the hotel did not cater food wise for them. During our stay we noticed parents struggling to find something for their children to eat. Cleaning of rooms could be better. Little beach cove is perfect . Do not stay half board or inclusive. Hotel fine Beach lovely
The room that we got was in a more "quiet" / "private" area, which we enjoyed a lot (Olympian Wing). There was a parking spot for that area which was pretty convenient for us. The staff was friendly and helpful...
The breakfast was tasty, with various options. Since the hotel is next to the sea, the scenery was quite amazing and we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset.
The room had a carpet in it, which we thought was a bit old-fashioned and unsanitary. On Booking.com we had the option to check-in earlier, but when we got to the premises, we were informed that we could enter the room after 14:00, which we thought was a bit bothersome. Other than that, we were satisfied.
Just came back from 10 days here, we had a lovely time.
The hotel is situated in a stunning location, we had room 764 and the view was breath taking! The room was perfect for two, very clean and spacious.
The facilities are really good, the drinks at the bars are lovely and the staff here is amazing.
The Beach is lovely, Crystal clear water and easy accessible!
This would have been a 5 stars for me, no doubt.
However….
The missing star is the food - the lack of selection is a matter of fact. The food offered is really nice and tasty, but the choice you get is reduced to the bare minimum. We have been to many hotels of the same level and never experienced such a small buffet.
I’d definitely come back to Cynthiana, but not on all inclusive.
