Ideal for beach vacationers and families, this luxury resort lies in Gouvia, right by the sea. There is a bus stop nearby. The nearest airport is Corfu - Kerkyra (CFU), located approximately 5 miles away. The complex has 195 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open around the clock. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Services and facilities include medical assistance, a transfer service, 24-hour room service, a laundry service and a lounge. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the king-size bed. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A telephone, a flatscreen television with satellite channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable vacation. A selection of pillows ensures a comfortable stay. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. 5 wheelchair-friendly rooms can be reserved. Family rooms are available for parents with children.
We have had a very chilled week here Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly , helpfull and chatty. Room was very clean, stocked mini bar , towels changed daily, robes and slippers included
Advice is if you want a hot shower do this before 6.30 or water will be cold!
Complex was big, one heated pool but was crammed with families with babies, the other large pool was very quite and also had an adult only terrance beware the water is freezing!!!! Towels are supplied every day and you could always anytime get a sunbed at the main pool
There were 5 restaurants , 4 others, Greek, Mediterranean and Italian and the seaside bar. The Greek wasn’t really Greek, Mediterranean was nice and the Italian was really good The main restaurant breakfast was the best meal of the day as food was always hot Evening meals lots of choices but lukewarm / cold food which was a shame

Bit gutted to be honest for a Hyatt 5* stay. What I can say is, the majority of the staff were great & the food is exceptional. However there were things that stood out which were not as expected.
Having to wait to check in at 10pm at night with a 4 month old.
Upon checkout, being told we could have a shower room and booking it in, then told at that time to use the gym instead when I had a 4 month old baby & given zero alternative. I couldn’t bath her at all and felt very uncomfortable.
At the pool, it is stated there is pool service, this seems to be for a select few guests providing tips to the staff. We weren’t offered drinks at all. This was particularly poor at the lagoon pool. In addition, at the lagoon pool, the staff manning entry&presumably handing out towels were sat on their phones. They pointed at the towel stack when we asked for a towel and didn’t help us. They were just sat on the floor.
In the restaurants, really hard to book in the à la cartes, even on the app. Some said ‘unable to book this far in advance’ even the day before (La Tratorria and Paphos).
Buffet - food was expectional to be honest, really very impressed with this. Only downside was we weren’t offered drinks often. Regularly we had to go and get our own coffees at breakfast and alcoholic drinks in the evening, after 15-20 mins of waiting for a member of staff.
We spent a week at the Hyatt Ziva Corfu and had a wonderful time.
First impressions were great, as staff greeted us, took our bags and got us checked in quickly, as we arrived late, we were allowed to go into the buffet for some food that was left out for the evening.
We booked a Preferred Club Bungalow with Sea View which was in a great location to the main building and preferred club area
The room was superb, with a spacious large double bed. Large TV, plenty of storage space. The bathroom was bright and had all amenities needed for our stay. The rainfall shower was superb!
Our room had a balcony/veranda which was beautiful to watch the sunrise from in the mornings, or to relax after a day in the sun before going up for dinner.
The housekeepers did an excellent job of daily cleaning of the room, and even tidied our things whilst doing it.
The buffet restaurant was our main go to for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we were incredibly satisfied every meal. The dishes are of a good variety, refreshed constantly and staff are constantly tidying the areas whenever guests make a mess. The themed nights are actually themed, and it’s always possible to make a complete meal, rather than just getting a big plate of random food items. The desserts were also very tasty!
The preferred club allows you access to the preferred lounge, with a self serve bar of plenty of different spirits and mixers, there’s also snacks and some items from the buffet menu so you could have your dinner there too. It was a peaceful and pleasant place to chill out after your meal.
Preferred club also had its own pool area, with lots of Sunbeds available, we’d wander down between 9-10 and not have any issue finding beds. Staff would also often come round where you could order drinks to your bed, as the bar was a bit of a walk away outside of the area.
Every staff member we encountered were very friendly and polite, especially the ladies in the preferred lounge!
The gym was also good, as my partner would visit in the mornings.
Now there are a few minor criticisms, some can’t be helped but it’s worth knowing about before visiting the hotel:
There is a wasp issue during the day by the pool, the hotel is doing what they can, and there’s traps around to handle them. They aren’t aggressive but annoying, especially as soon as you have a drink nearby. Corfu is the greenest island, so it’s expected to have some additional wildlife!
The room could have done with a full length mirror, it was inside the door of one of the cupboards which is sufficient but would have been nice for one on the wall.
Booking the à la cartes was difficult, no availability on the app but the dinner reservation desk could make it work, however the one I wanted to try the most (the Greek taverna style) was not available despite being on a waiting list.
It would be great to have a few more items in the preferred club bar for self serve cocktails, like some syrups, flavoured vodka or other cocktail making elements. Not the end of the world as you could just go to the main bar to get these.
There are some stray cats that ‘live’ in the hotel which we loved seeing and giving them some love, however one looks in dire need of a vet and as we were told they are looked after, and I appreciate they aren’t necessarily the concern of the hotel despite this, it would be good if somebody gave them a checkup.
The turndown service and restocking the minibar was inconsistent, sometimes we’d have a chocolate on our pillow, sometimes not. The minibar would be stocked on some days but not others, one day we didn’t have any water at all, and the coffee machine would be emptied when it had water in ready for the next morning.
The TV is very difficult to plug in a fire stick, we gave up in the end as the remote/settings are very limited due to ‘hotel mode’ set on the TV. We’re in a modern age where a fire stick is an essential for holiday!
All in all, our stay was excellent and would be happy to return again soon!
PS It is a Pepsi hotel and not Coke!
Absolutely loved this hotel , the preferred club is definitely worth the extra . Nice pool area and the preferred club is lovely to sit and have snacks and drinks . We used the hotel taxi for a trip into Corfu town . All the restaurants are worth a visit , nothing not to like here
