There is plenty to see in Kanoni itself including one of the most famous sites of the area - ‘Vlacherna Monastery.’ A Greek orthodox church dating back to the 17th century, perched on its own island accessible by a narrow pier into the harbour. After you have finished exploring the area, kick back and relax at Kanoni Beach, a pretty cove with sand and shingles, shallow and calm waters, and plenty of water sports available. For something a bit more peaceful, take a short stroll down the coast and you come across smaller and more secluded bays.
