Aldemar Knossos Royal

Just arrived home from a week at the Knossos Royal and what a fantastic week it was. Yes the room was a little dated as were some other areas, none of which impacted on our stay. As many others have said the staff really do make this hotel, from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble, after a long journey, with a delay, we arrived at midnight and were greeted at reception with a big smile from the member of reception staff checking us in. Every member of staff we encountered from reception, restaurant, cleaning, bar staff etc all could not have made us more welcome, nothing was too much trouble, even with the hotel about to close for a major refurbishment. I usually don't mention names as all staff work so hard, but on this occasion I must mention Joy in the main bar. on arriving. even though it was past midnight, the reception staff took us to the bar and allowed us a drink on our all inclusive package, we were served by Joy who greeted us with a beaming smile and explained the all inclusive deals etc, every evening Joy would welcome us, even giving us a gift on our departure which we were truly humbled by. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so memorable, we hope to be back at the newly refurbished resort when it opens.

We spent 10 nights in Knossos Royal and it really is a magical place, the setting is beautiful and the hotel itself is very well laid out and maintained. The food was exceptional, the best all inclusive food I've experienced. There was plenty of variety, dishes were well presented and everything was very tasty. Baklava was a particular favourite of mine and up to now I never liked this sweet, Knossos Royal changed my mind. We tried each of the four separate restaurants, all were excellent with the taverna being our particular favourite. The staff of Knossos Royal were all superb, professional, friendly and without exception a delight to deal with. They are a credit to the hotel, making our stay highly enjoyable and stress free ♥️. I had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Knossos Royal in Crete. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly and professional team. The hotel is stunning, perfectly maintained, with lush gardens, beautiful pools, and breathtaking views of the sea.

My room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure my comfort. The food was a real highlight: varied, delicious buffets with fresh, local ingredients, and a staff that was always attentive and kind.

A huge thank you to the entire team – from the reception to the waitstaff, the entertainers, and the housekeeping – for your kindness, availability, and professionalism. You truly made my stay exceptional.
