Beautiful place to stay

Review by Voyager705963

Arrived late,we were offered drinks and a sandwich in arrival which was greatly appreciated. We stayed in a masonette near the quiet pool which soon became home, beautiful view of the sea and pool. We could always find something to eat at the all inclusive and was plentiful and tasty.Nicko and August were fab servers.George at the main bar was as per previous reviews an absolute star and Hillie on reception is lovable.Any issues we had were dealt with immediately (fridge in room door not closing properly, new fridge given within the hour).only little downside was the all inclusive drinks.beer, wine, ouzo, brandy, raki were the only drinks on offer so if you like your whisky and vodka it was €5 a drink (not singles though) All in all we as a family.myself, husband and 15yr old daughter had a fantastic time.

if you're in your twenties and the only fun that you think that exists is to get pi**ed until you fall asleep into your own faeces this is the right place for it,it also have a pool!(I'm 33 and my kinda of fun was to rent a scooter and visit most of the island, different places every day) couldn't get a good night's rest due to the constant noise from other ignorant guests, even though I've asked them kindly; faulty and dangerous furniture with 1.5 cm of a screw sticking out of it.. the only good thing about this place is the location (close to shops, other facilities and the centre of fun..) and the morning shift, blonde hair receptionist, a very kind and understanding lady, unlike her coworker, the old brunette with the glasses which is extremely rude and impolite!

Get Her to the Greek

Review by RobynsRambles Scotland

My partner and I spent 1-week at the Porto Village and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel consists of apartments in separate Greek-looking buildings nicely spread out, with gardens and balcony attached to provide privacy (has a Mama Mia feel to it!). We enjoyed relaxing at the quiet grass area beside our apartments and also by the pool which is more lively with music - around 20-30 beds around the pool so a comfortable busy feel when reached max capacity.

This hotel hosted young couple and groups of friends, so I would say this is more suitable for people aged 16-30, rather than family or older couples looking for a quiet escape...

Being in our 20s, the hotel suited us as it us only a short 10-15minute walk to a strip - at one end was fancier and more expensive resturaunt (but very nice!) and bars and at the other end is cheaper bars and nightclubs, which is lively and fun. The hotel is also a short walk to beaches 15mins a

We stayed all inclusive, however I feel self-catering would have suited us better (we are not early risers, the was just okay and we enjoyed eating out). However we enjoyed having all inclusive for bar, which offers beer, wines (dry&sweet), brandy, and ouzo. Cocktails and others you have to pay for but not too expensive. We spent a couple of nights at the bar instead of going out during the DJ night and when we made friends and enjoyed the pool and darts on site. Special mention to George, the barman - he is a great guy and we enjoyed getting to know him. He made our stay really enjoyable - big thanks to George and Vladimir. All staff were very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The interior of the place is contemporary & greek - however we felt the bedrooms were a bit tided and could do with some TLC to reflect the modern style of the reception and other areas.

Overall, we enjoyed our experience at the Porto Village and would recommend to others. Thank you :)

We recommend this lovely place for a wonderful holiday!

Review by 640ellesl

This was our 10th time at Porto Village. We come here at least once a year for a super holiday. People are super friendly, rooms are clean, service is outstanding and the food is excellent...

Receptionist Hillie is a Dutch native speaker and very helpfull. Pool bar is open all day and night with super nice bartenders. Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the buffet was this year even better with the new chef! And last but not least the beautiful view over the hill and olive trees, but stille the short way down the hill which puts you in 200 m directly in the center of Chersonissos. Porto Village is SUPER!
