Pool

My Girlfriend and I had an amazing Massage by Dimitris and Eutuxia. It was divine! From the booking to the Treatment everything was very professional, only the payment by card was at first a little complicated because they had some problem with their machine. I highly recomend to get a Spa treatment there . :)

Superb Spa treatments

Me and my friend stayed here for 9 days, 2 girls in their early twenties.
Arriving-
arrived at the hotel around 2/3 am, reception was lovely, had 2 plates of cold food waiting for us in our room. only took around 20/30 mins from the airport.
Room-
we stayed in 101, very cleaned and had everything we needed, cleaners came everyday and cleaned and changed our towels. only thing is the we struggled to sit out on our balcony as the bushes were a bit over grown so there wasn't much room. the aircon was amazing and so needed! plugs by the bed which is so helpful and two mirrors one in the bathroom and one in the room- full length mirror.
Pool-
we mainly sat at the fresh water pool, always got a sunbed as we were up early for breakfast but they would all be gone by 7:30, but some would be free after around 4pm. pool area was always clean and tidy. they played music but it was the same few songs played over and over again which became very annoying, took headphones. 
Entertainment-
the two doing the entertainment during the day were really nice and friendly, enjoyed doing the water aerobics. the entertainment on the evening was also good and that it was different each night. only thing to add we were there during the euros and the tv was lagging, could have anticipated playing the game and used a projector and speakers so we could all hear and see it. 
Food-
I suppose me and my friend might be picky eaters slightly. if you enjoy eating meat in various sauces you will be fine. not much 'English' food- always had chips available, had the same cold food every night, always had the Greek salad. they do a Chinese night 3x a week which is very nice, and can also book the two restaurant the Italian and burger place which were also a nice change. the snack bar open after breakfast and after lunch maybe could have had some other options but otherwise was fine. 
Drinks-
could only get 2 at a time but that is standard. cocktails were nice. bar staff very nice and friendly, always happy to put more alcohol in your drink if needed.
Beach-
only went to the beach once, it is fairly small, fine to sunbathe and sit at but wouldn't be good for kids who want to play. sunbeds were free to use.
Night-
Hersonissos strip is good, plenty of bars and places to go. Malia is only about a 10 min drive, hotel is happy to call a taxi costs 20 euro each way, so split between us wasn't too bad. they drop you right by Malia strip and always taxis around to get home. 

Just one big negative is that I had a pair of sandals go missing and my friend had some makeup go missing from our room- when I told reception when we were leaving they stated the cleaning team hadn't been in that day (they had been) but they went missing the day before. they took my address and asked me to send a photo of the sandals and if they found them they would send them to me. Not that I was accusing anyone of taking stuff out our hotel room but me and my friend wouldn't have lost these items out.

Great holiday

Had a great holiday at Silva Beach arrived late evening so were greeted with small plates in our room/fridge in case we were hungry great little touch, family room was in annexe part no complaints air con fab and room size etc very pretty setting of hotel. Food was lovely and enjoyed the prime burger restaurant booking and le strada all included in the all inclusive, cocktails in hotel weren't very nice so avoided those.

Beach bar was our fave and Kostas is worth his weight in gold he works non stop and he was fab a definite credit to Silva Beach - loved the pool by the beach but agree with all the comments that there is a fight for sunbeds however on days we couldn't get one we used the free large beds on the beachfront by the bar so we were happy.  Yes it's a rock pool beach part but still beautiful and main beach not far away.

Location of Silva Beach is wonderful so central easy to walk everywhere great beach front restaurants and bars together with shops - we also used many bars along main stretch and one in particular staff were amazing.

I was lucky enought to spend my birthday on holiday and when I returned to our room I was greeted with a bottle of fizz and a large birthday cake such a nice touch and very kind of the hotel to lay this on.

Overall we were very happy had a great holiday with ourselves and our 18 year old daughter hotel catered for us and her.

Lastly the 15 min complimentary massage was fantastic and the young curly haired chap in the spa was so lovely and professional.

Also desk staff and restaurant staff lovely 😍

Centrally located great Hotel and base no complaints

Spent a lovely week at Silva Beach, and would go back in a heartbeat! Layout of the hotel is lovely - feels like a little village, and the garden rooms look out onto little shaded coutyards. We couldn't hear any outside noise at night which was remarkable given the hotel is on the main strip. Once you go in, it's like another world, and the beach area is much more peaceful than the rest of the area. 
All staff are amazingly efficient and friendly, especially Kostas in the beach bat and the grill chefs in the main restaurant. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Food is traditional, and we ate salads, grilled meat and fruit - highlights are the lovely Greek yoghurts and Baklava, and seafood. 
Entertainment was basic but friendly and not pushy - if you're good at music quizzes you'll be fine! Games during the day in the pool are not at all intrusive.
Sunbeds - a lot has been said about availability, but we were able to get 2 together by the lower pool every day around 9am. Maybe the problem is with larger groups. As we left it was the beginning of the school summer holidays and was getting busier, with more children about.
We wold definitely return, but not in high summer as it was ragingly hot!

Lovely hotel

This is a lovely property, set out like a Cretian village. Very pretty and traditional.

The staff are lovely and friendly, in particular Kikki, in the main restaurant, she was always smiling and taught us some Greek words as she whisked away our plates. 
The restaurant team and managers never stop working!

Reception staff, cleaners, bar staff all efficient, professional, hard working and lovely.

A special mention to Kosta at the beach bar, this guy is a legend, and runs the bar all day, by himself, great memory and cocktail maker, he is a credit to the hotel.

Animation team were lovely, worked hard. 
Evening entertainment generally good. 

Food is great, lots of choice, and lots of opportunity to eat. 
La Strada - Italian a la Carte -  is well worth a visit, unfortunately we didn't get to chance to eat at Prime Burger, which is our fault as the nights it was available, was when England played (Euro's) but I believe the food was good. 

The Spa did disappoint me though, although the staff were friendly, they had no price lists, They asked where I was from before giving me a cost which I thought was a bit suspect, I  also found it expensive so I didn't bother, but don't let me put you off. 

It was my daughters 16th birthday whilst we were away, not only were there banners and balloons put in our room, we also got a nice cake and bottle of fizz, which was a lovely, and thoughtful gesture. 

Rooms lovely, Cleaned every day,  good size, great air con. 
We got a new bottle of water each  day too, and coffee/tea/Milk also replenished each day. 

Yes sun loungers were not plentiful, and people did reserve them from early morning, but this is an age old  issue at most hotels, its always going to happen.  We found our terrace a great alternative spot to sunbathe, as we were right by the pool we could nip to the bar very easily too. 

This property is well located, with bars and plenty of shops close by, you can walk along the front all the way to the main Hersonissos strip which has plenty of bars and restaurants too.
 
I happen to work within the travel industry, and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone!! I don't tend to go to the same hotel twice, but I might just make an exception for the Siva Beach!

Great Hotel!! Lovely stay!!
