Perfect family beach holiday
If you’re looking for a true beach holiday experience, the location of Pilot Beach is perfect. Especially if you’re situated in the accommodation on the beach side of the resort. The town is an idyllic 15-20 minute walk along the beach. The atmosphere was relaxed but very professional, with staff ready to greet you on arrival at each meal. Although the rooms were slightly smaller than we’d hoped, they had everything we needed. The air con was very effective but quite noisy, however, I was able to adapt and it wasn’t a problem. The cleaning service is 5 star. The cleaners are very friendly and do a thorough job. Towels and beach towels are changed daily and water supplies are stocked up. You have to ring to have the mini bar refilled. It would be an added bonus if the bar was checked and restocked automatically but it’s a minor inconvenience. The food was excellent with enough variety and their attention to dietary requirements is superb. Everything was fresh and restocked quickly, so it was unusual to have to wait for anything. For us, the beach was the highlight, with crystal clear water and golden sand. There were always plenty of sun loungers available. Everything considered, Pilot Beach is excellent value for money on the all inclusive package and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Real vacation
We had amazing holiday, everything was organized well. Activities for children are fantastic! All parts of the resort are near to each other, massage was excellent. It is the first time that it was so good and more than I expected from photos! Beautiful 😍
Lovely family holiday
We have returned from a wonderful 10 days at Pilot Beach Resort. Lots of tears as we made our way home. The room was exactly as expected with toiletries and daily mopping, fresh towels and bed making etc. and a pool view. It was very quiet and we didn't hear any noise from adjoining rooms. The location is approximately 50 minutes from Chania airport, we opted for a private transfer. The beach is very clean and there are plenty of sun loungers even in peak season. This was the same around the main and smaller pools. We generally based ourselves around the main pool which is lively with some activities but nothing overly loud or in your face. We joined in with aqua gym with Onni and handball with Nikolas and Nael regularly. The evening entertainment was great. Lots of options for kids and adults with mini discos, karaoke, magic shows and main stage events including acrobats and singers as well as shows by the in house animation team. The mini club had lots of daily activities that were free to participate in and a few paid ones such as t-shirt painting. The food was fabulous, so much choice and always quickly replenished. The waiting staff are very attentive, clearing plates and taking drinks orders quickly. With the kids we mostly used the Kronos restaurant and the kids used the tasty corner each day for lunch and snacks. All in all we had a great time and are considering booking for next year already.
Great for families
Everything perfect. We chose this hotel for the kids club reviews and they were amazing. Super recommeded for families with young kids!
