An exceptional stay, made truly unforgettable by an extraordinary team ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As we come to the end of two wonderful weeks at Nana Golden Beach, from August 2nd to August 16th, we really wanted to take the time to share our experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel, its beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities and the overall quality of everything on offer. But what truly made the difference during our stay — and what we will remember above all — was the incredible warmth of the people and their exceptional sense of service.

As can sometimes happen during a two-week stay, we encountered two or three small issues that required some attention. And this is precisely when you can truly appreciate the quality of a hotel: every single matter was handled with remarkable responsiveness, professionalism, kindness and genuine care.

At no point did we feel like just another room number. Quite the opposite. Throughout our entire stay, we felt genuinely listened to, cared for and looked after.

The service at Nana Golden Beach is truly personalised, and this attention does not seem to be reserved for just a few guests. Everywhere you go, you can feel the team’s sincere desire to take care of every guest and make sure they have the best possible holiday.

We would like to express our deepest thanks to Mr Manolis Maris, General Manager of Nana Hotels, for his personal attention, availability and for making sure that our stay was such a success.

A very special thank you also goes to Georges from Guest Relations, who took absolutely exceptional care of us. Always available, smiling, attentive and ready to help, he was there whenever we needed anything and contributed enormously to making our stay so enjoyable. Georges, a huge thank you!

We would also like to sincerely thank Ritsa Ashina, Guest Relations Manager, for her kindness, professionalism and all the thoughtful attention she showed us throughout our stay.

And of course, it is impossible to mention everyone by name: the buggy teams, always smiling and happy to take us around the resort; everyone welcoming guests at the entrance of the Artemis restaurant, always with a smile and a kind word; the restaurant teams, reception staff, housekeeping teams… and, more generally, the entire staff of Nana Golden Beach.

Everywhere we went, we met warm, professional people who genuinely cared about their guests.

There is also one very special moment we will never forget: our daughter’s birthday. The team took the time to come to our table at the Artemis restaurant to surprise her and sing Happy Birthday. Seeing how happy she was and sharing that moment together will remain one of the most beautiful memories of our holiday.

These gestures may seem like small details, but they are exactly what turn a wonderful holiday into an unforgettable experience.

After two weeks at Nana Golden Beach, we leave with so many wonderful memories, but above all with the feeling that we were welcomed with genuine warmth, generosity and true Cretan hospitality.

A hotel can have beautiful swimming pools, wonderful gardens, a lovely beach and excellent restaurants. But ultimately, it is the people who give a hotel its soul. And in that respect, Nana Golden Beach has a truly exceptional team.

Thank you to Manolis, Georges, Ritsa, and to all those whose names we unfortunately do not know, but who each contributed in their own way to making these two weeks so special.

We’ve just returned from an outstanding week at Nana Golden Beach, and we’re so pleased we decided to book it at the last minute, especially as we’d never been to Crete before. From start to finish, it was an excellent holiday and one we’ll remember for a long time.

The accommodation is lovely — modern, clean and comfortable — and the grounds and beach are absolutely stunning. There’s also a fantastic range of activities, with the scuba diving school and water sports being particular highlights for us.

The food was fresh, delicious and varied both in the main Artemis restaurant and across the à la carte options. We especially enjoyed the Pergola restaurant for breakfast, lunch and delicious Gyros in the afternoon.

But what really makes Nana Golden Beach stand out is the service and, above all, the people. Every member of staff we came across, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant and waiting staff, was genuinely friendly, welcoming and happy to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and you could tell that the team genuinely cared about making guests’ stays special.

A particular shout-out to the wonderful team at Pergola, who were all so lovely, and to everyone at Azzurro, who went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration incredibly special and memorable. They even made a real effort to include my little boy in the celebrations, which absolutely made his day. Those personal touches meant so much to us.

Nana Golden Beach should be incredibly proud of its team. They are a real credit to the resort and, for us, are what truly made the holiday so special. We generally don’t return to the same place twice, but because of the fantastic staff and level of service, I would happily book Nana Golden Beach again.

Thank you for such a wonderful, relaxing and memorable stay. We’ve come home with some wonderful memories and would wholeheartedly recommend Nana Golden Beach to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday in Crete. We hope to come back!
