Had the pleasure of spending ten nights at this property and loved it. Just far enough outside Chania to be away from the crowds, yet an inexpensive taxi ride into Old Town. The “Wellness Retreat may be a bit cramped for many, but we loved the second floor jacuzzi with ocean view. We found ourselves in it every late afternoon. Solid staff and well maintained property. Plenty of good nearby dining options, avoid Sirroco next store, not good.
Domes Noruz Chania is one of the best hotel stays we've ever had. It's stylish and classy without being snooty. It's small enough that the staff remember you but big enough to have good facilities. There are two pools and the rooms are gathered around them. One pool is marketed as lively and the other as quiet. We decided to get an Upbeat Retreat room on the quiet pool as we are early sleepers and had read that there were music events each night in the lively pool area. To be honest, however, I don't think we needed to worry too
We had a week's stay at end of September and really enjoyed the hotel for its location and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel looks great with a nice bar and restaurant overlooking the sea. Our room overlooked the main pool and sea with a nice plunge pool although it was on the cold side so didn't use it as much as we expected. The hotel is a 15 minute taxi ride into the old town and harbour and we also took the local bus as there was a stop a 5 minute walk away. Was good to have some relaxing days at the hotel and others exploring Chania old town.
Loved this hotel so much! Our room was beachfront and had a pool. We used the outdoor gym everyday as it was right outside our room. They had a larger indoor gym but working out outside was wonderful! We did the half board option and the food was great! We enjoyed the huge selections at breakfast and could choose either lunch or dinner as our other included meal. We only ate dinner at the restaurant the first night but it was delicious! The rest of the days we enjoyed lunch at the beach. The beach was lovely with crystal clear waters. The outdoor areas are really beautiful. Lots of lounging areas with sea views. Nice large pools and a gorgeous bar that serves sushi and is a raw bar. They have an awesome gift shop with lots of fun clothing, bags and jewelry! We rented a car and went to Chania a few evenings for dinner and very much enjoyed the Venetian port. Very relaxing beautiful stay.
This hotel is perfect in every way. We visited in September for our wedding anniversary and have already booked to return for next years anniversary. It is in a beautiful location. Everything about the hotel is perfect. Room, food,staff and communication. All 💯 % I have no negative comments.
