Avra Imperial Hotel

Very nice hotel, contemporary architecture. Friendly staff, very big swimming pool, must be like 35 meters long or more. Big rooms, bright, we got one of the best, 16310 with no neighbours left, right or above and view on swimming pool and sea. Mediterranean, Asian and Italian restaurants offering tasty fresh dishes, main restaurant offers a lot of choice. Entertainments in evenings but nothing extravagant, therefore the hotel is quiet in the evening and perfect for relaxing. Less positive: Beach part is rather small and should be better maintained, sun-beds at the pool aren’t very comfortable. To summarise: we recommend.

The service was even better than last year. We really appreciated the warm, friendly and helpful staff. At Xateri, the entire team — from the chefs to the waiters — was simply fantastic. The food was excellent, and the service made the experience even better. We were also very grateful for the lovely surprise we received as returning guests. It was a wonderful gesture and lifted our already good mood even higher. Thank you! One thing worth mentioning for future guests: the sunbeds on the private-pool terraces do not receive direct sunlight(at least in august). So if you are booking a private pool specifically because you expect to sunbathe and get a tan on your own terrace, be aware that this may not be the case. The terrace itself is very nice and private, but there is essentially no direct sun on the sunbeds. Overall, another very enjoyable stay (2 beutiful weeks) at Avra Imperial, with service that has improved even further compared with last year.
