From the marbled foyer to the luxurious bedrooms, every detail in this hotel echoes style, quality and prestige. There is a hotel safe, lift access, a café, pub and restaurant, a shop, a hairdressing salon, Internet access and a play area, everything needed to a wonderful holiday. The rooms have balconies or terraces with sea views and most of them have an open plan lounge area with a sofa bed that can be converted into a child's bed. All feature en-suite bathrooms and appliances to increase experience.

A lovely place to be 2026❤️
An unforgettable experience for our party of six! Traveling in a large group can sometimes be challenging, but this hotel managed everything seamlessly. The staff provided stellar service and accommodated every single request we had with genuine warmth. We enjoyed incredible meals and left feeling completely refreshed. Waterpark is the highlight of resort. We want to give a special thanks to Ilias at reception for making us feel so welcome , additional I would like to congratulate Manos and the whole beach bar team for the amazing cocktails and the spotless Service. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
A day to remember
We were incredibly lucky to be given a day pass at Grecotel Creta Palace, and honestly, it completely blew us away. What a beautiful hotel, and what an incredibly warm and welcoming team.
A huge thank you to Manolis and the beach bar team, who went out of their way to make our day so memorable. From showing us around to making sure we felt completely welcome, their hospitality was exceptional. The new water park was the highlight for the children…so much fun and, in our opinion, absolutely worth the price of a stay in itself!
We also have to mention Lucas, who was one of the kindest and most helpful members of the team we met. His knowledge, enthusiasm and willingness to help really stood out. He is a real asset to the hotel.
There is so much for children to enjoy, but what we particularly loved was the sense of Cretan character throughout the resort. The on-site farm, where local produce is grown, is such a lovely touch and gives the whole experience a wonderful sense of place.
Lunch was another highlight. Marcos and his team were extraordinary — attentive without ever being intrusive, incredibly welcoming and so wonderful with our children. The local wines and food made it feel like a genuinely special Cretan experience rather than simply a hotel lunch.
And then there are the pools… so much choice! There were plenty of sunbeds and beautifully designed spaces, with that extra five-star touch that makes a real difference. Even on a busy August day, the resort feels spacious and relaxed, rather than crowded or overwhelming.
We arrived for a day pass and left genuinely wishing we were staying longer.
Thank you to everyone at Creta Palace for making us feel so welcome. We had an absolutely wonderful day and would love to return. ❤️🇬🇷

Pleasant location for a relaxing stay in Crete
Had a wonderful stay at the Grecotel Palace Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our time here.
The sandy beach is ok, but a but pebbly, so beach shoes may be useful. If you plan to dine at the à la carte restaurants rather than the buffet, we recommend booking early during your stay to avoid disappointment.
The rooftop bar is particularly pleasant and offers an amazing spot to watch the sunset. We also loved the reconstructed village square, which is beautifully designed and tastefully decorated.
Overall, a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere and plenty to enjoy.

Perfect holiday
Perfect locarion. Close to Rethymno. Nice beach. Great servises. Beautifull hotel. But most of all I would like to highliht the wonderfull attitude of the staff. They were always smiling, politike, friendly and willing to help. My special thanks, however, go to Cecilia, Janis and Manolis.

We heard praising reviews on this hotel and it did not fail to disappoint. What an amazing resort. The hotel and grounds are clean, tidy and very well maintained. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and comfortable. Mr Yiannis on the food and beverage looked after our son’s multiple food allergies and managed his meals perfectly. The hotel is well prepared to accommodate anyone who has severe allergies. Hopefully returning to the resort in the near future ! Elena and family
