Ikones Seafront Luxury Suites

Recently returned from a weeks stay at this hotel and what a fantastic week it was! The hotel is spotless throughout and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We booked a pool view room but were allocated a swim up room on arrival a lovely bonus. There was a bottle of wine and fruit on arrival and amenities included a fridge with water left daily, beach bag, sun block and aftersun, dressing gown and slippers, a wide range of toiletries, hairdryer (not one of those attached to the wall) and even a set of bathroom scales! Safety deposit box free to use. One thing to note is the bathroom is fairly open to the bedroom so for those who like complete privacy it may not be for you. Rooms cleaned daily. The only small negative I could find is that the room was on the small side and I wouldn’t really call it a suite but that was a minor issue and wouldn’t stop me returning. Towels provided on the beach, beds plentiful and waiter service for food and drinks provided. Choice at breakfast plentiful including a good choice of fresh fruit, cold and hot selection and all good quality. It’s about a 35 minute walk to the harbour but there are bars and restaurants close to the hotel and hailing a taxi is easy enough. I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

What a great hotel, exceptionally clean, well maintained, positioned literally across the road from the beach and beds, and only a short (warm) walk into the centre of Rethymno.

Pool area and bar area relaxed, friendly, welcoming. Great service. Limited number of sun bed's by the pool but never struggled getting one when needed. Restaurant and food excellent, great choice, fab service, and what a view!!!!

Room was spacious, spotless, and had everything you needed for a relaxed stay. As referenced by one or two others, blackout curtains didn’t quite cover the full window. Only other slight negative - we had a swim up pool and could constantly hear a gurgling noise from the water pumps (we presume) which was a little irritating. However we didn’t raise this with reception at the time.

Reception service always polite, helpful and knowledgeable on trips worth taking.

Overall wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
