The rooms are big and can provide comfort (new bathrooms). Spacious balcony. But the rooms have old furniture mixed with new furniture, old sheets and old towels...
Great location!! The beach is realy close and the water is amazing!
Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. (you will need their help)
The biggest disappointment was the food (poor quality food). If they would provide a better food and drink meniu the overall impression would be better.
This may have been a 4 stars hotel but now services and food provided for guest are basic (2 stars at best).
Would not recommend it!! If you still want to choose this hotel then choose accommodation without meals included!!! Fortunately there are many taverns with great food.
I stayed at this hotel with two children, very good services, good food, very friendly staff, sandy beach, smooth entrance to the sea, clean everywhere, a good choice, the lady at the reception was very friendly and attentive to the clients' needs, thank you for this!!!
Worse ever don't go there, horrible food like left overs from hospital nixed together, I've only et salads, no hot water at all, rooms like in cheap hostels, no shampoo or soap, only three alcohols to drink in all inclusive(also somethink they do on there on).... No 4 stars, the pictures they got r not real ull never see what u saw on picture. Worse ever and I've been in different places
Travelled with my daughter and a friend - transfer took 3 hours so book a private transfer as Possidi is the last drop off and the first pick up going back. Quiet location with a couple of hotels and apartments. 2 supermarkets within a minutes walking distance...
Beach front location which is excellent. it is a shingle beach rather than soft sand. Local restaurants.
Now for the hotel. I would not say this was a 4 star, mainly because of the amenities and the food.
Room was clean and adequate and we had a balcony. We had to ask for towels every day . Because it is the end of the season we had no trouble getting sunbeds round the pool, it is not enormous but it is adequate and absolutely freezing. I would not like to come in high season as the pool isnt that big and there are not so many sunbeds. the water feature did not work, the jacuzzi area in the pool also did not work and watch out for the broken tiles arouond the edge as my daughter hurt her legs on these. Sunbeds on beach are free as part of your all inclusive.
What lets this hotel down is the food and whats included in the all inclusive. You have to pay for water which I have never ever had before as part of any all inclusive. Coke, fanta lemon, tea, coffee, ouzo , brandy and wine were the only drinks you could have. Food although it seems plentiful was the same day in and day out with the main choice of 2 things changing between lunch and evening meal. Anything hot was stone cold even if you went as soon as it was open. We stayed away from that and ate mainly at breakfast times. Ice cream is only available during lunch or evening meal.
Advertised snacks which is a cheese and ham toastie which you have to pay for, iced coffee you pay for. Greek themed night as advertised when we booked did not take place.
Ideal if you just want a week relaxing and nothing to do but take note there is no nightlife, no entertainment, no water sports and the best you can do is eat out in the evening.
We ate out a lot and booked taxis into other areas for days out. We took an excellent all day boat trip which included a couple of soft drinks and sandwiches which was just 30 euros per person. Just go to the reception to book, its well worth it.
We found most of the staff, the lads at the bar, the cleaners, the lifeguard all very friendly. We made the most of our holiday and went out aswell as having beach/pool days and still had a very enjoyable week.
Would I go back to Greece, yes I would but not to this area, even in the height of the season there is nothing to do, limited shops
The hotel managers should stop claiming that it is a 4 star hotel, because it really is not and it is a shame because the hotel has a lot of potential... We have read the reviews, so we expected the 2-3star accommodation and service... The room itself was ok, clean and spacious but we had a problem with the bathroom. It was a wheelchair accessible bathroom, without any step in a shower, so after showering 3 kids and 2 adults, the whole bathroom was flooded...
The food was fine, there were usually 2 kinds of meat, 2 kinds of side dish, salads... Rarely a dessert, but there was always ice cream at lunch and dinner. The beach and the sea is beautiful, just across the street, clean, very nice.
