The hotel is situated in the southwest side of Kefalonia Island and specifically in the tranquil surroundings of the Lassi coastline just 2km from Argostoli, the capital city of Kefalonia. Set just above a small sandy beach. The hotel offers spectacular view to the bay of Lixouri. The crystal clear waters make the beach ideal for swimming but also exploring the seabed. A large swimming pool with section for children, a tennis court, a ping-pong table or nights with live Greek music are only some of the kinds of entertainment offered by the hotel.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A fantastic hotel to stay at, very friendly and helpful staff. Great food, right on the beach. This was the 17th year we have stayed at The Mediterranee.
The hotel is situated in a great location in Lassi, close to the bars and restaurants. Good pool area with ample beds available and lovely beach again ample beds at 10 euros a day for two plus a parasol. Good breakfast selection a lovely to sit outside with no smoking, good coffee from the machines. The lobby area and bar were very smart, great to have a little shop where six large bottles of water was 3 euros, much better than getting it from the supermarket and carrying it back. We had a room with a land view as the sea views had sold out, i enjoyed watching the night life go by on the balcony and enjoyed the sunrise every morning. The rooms were adequate but tarting to look a bit dated. We have stayed at White Rocks for the last few years, but we loved the location of the Mediterranee Hotel so we will return
Just come back from a weeks Stay, the weather was great for this time of year. Staff were friendly and helpfully with anything you needed. Hotel didn't disappoint, having a sea/pool view on the 3rd floor was great for Sunsets and watching the ships go by. Food was good, plenty to choose from at breakfast and evening meal. There is a great bar/restaurant half was up the hill called Aqua Marina where we would stop for a drink or cocktail. Plenty of bars/restaurants at the top of the hill and some shops.
Brilliant hotel very clean and friendly staff on the doorstep for the beach and Tavernas and Bars - definitely go back in a heartbeat
Stunning sea view. We have been very surprised at how perfect this hotel is, we wasn’t expecting much due to reviews regarding it being a bit old and tired. It appears it’s had a refurb as all areas look fresh and new. The food is very very good here ! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel and surrounding restaurants are very cheap. Much cheaper than the UK. We will be coming back. Very peaceful not suitable for children that need lots of entertainment day and night.
