The Akti Palace hotel is located in the area called Tholari, just 4 km east of Kardamena, 20 km from Kos Town, 10 km from the airport and to a short distance to all attraction areas of Kos Island.
The hotel consists of 15 buildings which are scattered around of 35.000m2 of gardens. It looks like a small modern village with pathways and plazas.
The seafront deluxe modern style facilities and accommodation of 189 units are influenced by Dodecanese style architecture.
- Based on COVID-19 guidlines and regulations, we are implementing all necessary health measures on-top of the hotels' already exemplary sanitation procedures, high hygiene and cleanliness standards, to ensure a safe environment for all our guests and staff. Our Ultra-All-Inclusive concept of food and drinks available 24 hours a day in one of our restaurants and bars, will remain the same.
Any guest who prefers not to have daily room cleaning, must inform reception staff upon arrival. Our indoor heated pool will remain closed. Activities requiring team sports such as football, basketball, water polo, etc. will be prohibited.
All additional safety measures which will be introduced must be followed by both guests and employees.

Full body massage
Esmeralda provided the full body massage (Cretan) which was fantastic, rekaxing and revitalising. Will go again during my stay - highly recommended!

Amazing staff
We are on our last day after a week here, the hotel was lovely but the staff really made the experience for us.
Our 8 year old drew pictures for her favourite staff and they were all so grateful and made a fuss of her, it made her holiday. The guy doing the pancakes at the pool bar (sorry we didn’t get your name) but made her night every night with the most amazing pancakes, and the receptionist Aspasia was incredible, and drew her a picture back which is now a holiday Momento.
We had asked beforehand to have a fan in the room which was already sorted by the time we got there, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable but when we asked for a topper it was sorted that same day which made it so much better.
the food was okay, but we found the pool bar food at lunch was better than the restaurant and the evening food at the other hotel was nicer.
Our room wasn’t cleaned everyday and towels weren’t changed but we were given water daily.
Overall we had a lovely stay here and had a great holiday.
The whole stay
Just back from our week stay definitely didn't want to come home! The whole atmosphere of the hotel was amazing, the staff couldn't do enough for you I think my only niggle would be that people leave their towels on the sunbeds round the pool and dissappear for hours on end and its very disappointing if you want to relax for an hour you cant. Other than that the whole vibe was brilliant! Also had a massage while I was there from sam and it was brilliant, very fair price too. The food was amazing too. Already looking at booking to come back next year!!
Superb value
We had a fantastic holiday in Kos. Akti Palace was in an excellent location - close to the airport, 10 minutes on the free shuttle coach to Kardamaina, and you can also walk to Kardamaina from the hotel which takes around 45 minutes. My first impressions of the hotel weren’t great to be honest. It doesn’t look much from the outside, especially on a night arrival. However, daytime shed a new opinion. But…the room was spacious and clean. Mini bar topped up every day. Great working air con. The bathrooms would benefit from a refurb, and possibly a few more coat hangers/plug sockets would be better. We paid extra to have a sea view, which I think was worth it. The grounds inside the hotel were beautiful and well kept. The pool was great and never struggled to get a sun bed on the beach or by the pool. It seemed very chilled and relaxed. Recommend using the water sports facilities on the beach - we did parasailing and jet skiing which were fantastic, and good value. The pool bar in the evening suited us, excellent drinks table service and entertainment suitable for all. All the staff work so hard, and a particular shout out to Iona - she was fantastic and helped my husband improve his Greek! The food was nice - we mainly ate dinner at Akti Beach Club, the sister hotel, as there was more variety. Freshly cooked pizzas, seafood, sushi, Greek dishes, Chinese ect ect. There are 3 a la carte restaurants available at Akti Palace at no extra cost for all inclusive. We booked into all 3 but had to cancel 2 as they coincided with some trips we booked. But the seafood restaurant was amazing! Bottles of wine and amazing fresh cooked seafood. In the day we mainly snacked at the beach bar, freshly cooked gyros, Greek salad. They do amazing frappes and ice creams too! Overall we had a superb holiday, great value. We would recommend to other families and couples, and would return. Thanks for the memories Akti Palace.
