We are spending a wonderful holiday in Greece on the island of Kos. The 5***** Mitsis Summer Palace Hotel has hosted us wonderfully. Its beautiful cascading location takes your breath away. Every day we can enjoy a panoramic view of the sea and surrounding islands, as well as great cuisine. Several themed à la carte restaurants will satisfy the tastes of the most demanding guests. What an amazing place!
Amazing hotel such a lovely place to stay! Food and staff amazing! All very friendly. Concierge Irene so helpful and helped us plan our stay here! We truly had an amazing time and would recommend to anyone. Felt totally relaxed and at ease! Rooms were incredible and so spacious! Really clean as well. There are a lot of steps so prepare for a workout. Lots of little pools to explore and relax by.
Great honeymoon
We had a marvellous time once again at the Mitsis brand. Federica really ensured that our honeymoon was the best experience for us and nothing was a tough ask. We stayed at the Mitsis Norida Beach a couple of years ago with the family and it was lovely but Summer Palace really has a boutique feel, much quieter and intimate and was exactly what we wanted.

Great holiday
Staff very friendly, don’t really have to wait long to be served at the bar or restaurants. We had a junior suite located just up the hill from the main reception area, it was very quiet and peaceful with a great balcony and sea view. Worth booking the à la carte restaurants for variety. Pleasantly surprised with the buffet style restaurant, breakfast is full on buffet style but the evening meal is part à la carte and part buffet, enjoyed it. The vast number of infinity pools are great but a real sun trap and unfortunately the main infinity pools are taken by sunbed hoggers way before the sun rises😂. We spent the majority of our time one the beach, no problem getting beds there. Entertainment is a bit in the light side. There is a bar just down the road called the Club Zone, not part of the all inclusive but very reasonable. Great for football lovers and the younger party goers.
The only down side for us was, the choice or lack of choice of different beers and ciders. There’s one draft local larger and it’s not great so the only other choice is the number of different cocktails. Not good if you’re not a cocktail drinker.
Mitsis management, I would urge you to think about putting a selection of different beers and ciders behind the bars, even if it’s bottled or canned, it really did spoil the overall experience for me, my wife was happy cause she dinks cocktails🍸🍹
But, overall, a great experience and would definitely come back.
