⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve just returned from a fantastic 2-week all-inclusive stay at Blue Lagoon Village. As two adults, we found the resort very relaxing, with excellent food, great facilities, lovely pools, and friendly staff throughout. The entertainment team worked incredibly hard and provided a great atmosphere both day and night. While we were travelling without children, it was clear that the resort is fantastic for families, with plenty of activities, kids’ entertainment, and family-friendly shows on offer. Overall, a brilliant holiday in a beautiful location. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Blue Lagoon Village and would happily return in the future. 🌞🇬🇷🍹
We stayed for 11 nights from 20th June, travelling as a family of four with a toddler and a five-month-old, staying in a family swim-up (8511).
We booked based on feedback from family who had visited, so had realistic expectations for the price of the holiday (I think this is only recently classified as 5-star by TUI).
The room was very spacious and centrally located, but very quiet. We had full sun from 10 am on the decking, a great angled room for the sun, a large patio, and we found the swim-up pool a good temperature (read my other reviews and for other hotels and you’ll know I don’t like cold pools).
The resort is very big and we were still finding new places on our last few days. We missed the cocktail bar until near the end of the holiday near the Italian.
So where did it exceed our expectations?
Side note for previous Sensatori guests We’ve visited many Sensatori hotels, Fethiye, Rhodes, Crete, etc.
What we missed in comparison to the Sensatori’s and we felt would add to the resort:
I’m summary, despite missing a few things we’re used to holiday, we found this a great hotel and really enjoyed our stay!
Before travelling, I spent weeks reading TripAdvisor reviews and, like many people, I was slightly concerned by comments questioning whether Blue Lagoon Village deserved its 5-star rating.
Having just spent a fantastic week here with our two daughters (aged 6 and 4), If you’re looking for an exceptional all-inclusive family resort with fantastic facilities, great food, friendly staff and excellent value for money, then it absolutely delivered a 5-star experience for us.
We booked a Quiet Swim-Up Sea View Room and it was the highlight of our stay. Having our own swim-up pool meant we could enjoy relaxed mornings before exploring the resort each afternoon, and the peaceful location was perfect for our young family.
The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with staff constantly working to keep everything spotless. The pools are excellent, especially Adventure Land and the children’s splash areas, which our girls absolutely loved.
The food exceeded our expectations. The buffet offered plenty of variety each day with freshly cooked meat, fish, pasta, pizza, salads, desserts and lots of choice for children. Breakfast was particularly impressive, and the speciality restaurants were a great addition that broke up the week nicely. One touch that really elevated the experience was the table service for drinks in the restaurants. Rather than queuing at a bar, the staff came to your table throughout the meal, which made dining feel much more relaxed and added to the premium feel of the all-inclusive experience.
The evening entertainment was another highlight. The mini disco was a huge hit with our daughters, while the live shows and music created a great atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. Throughout the resort, the staff were friendly, welcoming and worked incredibly hard.
When you consider everything that’s included—accommodation, food, drinks, entertainment, children’s facilities and the overall quality of the resort—we genuinely felt this offered outstanding value for money.
The biggest compliment I can give Blue Lagoon Village is that before we’d even flown home, we were already talking about booking again for next year.
Thank you to everyone who made our family holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to return!
We recently stayed at Blue Lagoon Village in Kos, and while there were some positives, overall we wouldn’t return.
The room itself was nice, clean, and well maintained. The hotel grounds were also generally very clean, and there are plenty of swimming pools to choose from, so it never felt overcrowded. The beds were a little too firm for my liking, although I appreciate that’s down to personal preference.
Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives for us. The hotel is extremely remote, so if you want to explore the island you’ll need to hire a car or quad, or pay very expensive taxi fares. We ended up hiring both a car and a quad just to avoid feeling stuck at the resort.
There is only one small shop nearby, and the prices are heavily inflated. For example, a can of Red Bull was being sold for €3, despite the original €1.59 price still being visible underneath a sticker. It gave the impression that guests are expected to pay extra at every opportunity after already spending a significant amount on the holiday.
What really disappointed us was the lack of flexibility regarding a late checkout. Our transfer wasn’t until 6:30pm, and with two young boys, one of whom had been unwell the night before after something he ate or drank, we asked if a late checkout was possible. We were quoted €130, with no consideration given to our circumstances. That left a poor impression.
The standout feature of this hotel is without doubt the entertainment team. They are absolutely fantastic, work incredibly hard from morning until night, and genuinely care about ensuring guests have a great time. They were the highlight of our stay and deserve recognition for the effort they put in every single day.
Overall, while the facilities and cleanliness are good, the hotel’s remote location, constant additional costs, and lack of customer care mean we won’t be returning.
We are honoured to be the BLVs 1st lesbian wedding 👰🏼👰♀
Me and my now wife Emma have just got back from 10 days at the blue lagoon village kos (4th to 14th July 2026) and we got married on the beach there on the 10th July 2026.
This hotel is amazing. If your are in 2 minds. Do it. We had the best time from start to finish and so did our families. Some was with us the whole 10 days some for just a few. But all said we should of booked longer.
The village is absolutely stunning. It is so clean everywhere and there is so much to do. From entertainment with the animation team, chill pools water sports at their private beach and there are so many places to eat you will not go hungry nor does your glass get empty.
The staff. ALL of the staff are just so attentive, friendly and will do all they can to help. Jesus kept my coffee topped up every morning at 7am. He was so friendly.
The animation team are fantastic with the little ones and the adults that are more like children. They work so hard at keeping us entertained and chatting with us. Miguel, Zoe, Shakira, Laronzo, Toto (I see you) and Boris were all amazing.
The rooms are beautifully cleaned as are the grounds and even the cleaning staff are friendly and polite.
Our wedding day was perfectly planned out and all we could ask for and more. The wedding events team Effie & Ms Franziska could not of done more for us. They was with us every step of the way and there are not enough words to express our gratitude for them. Franziska was the very 1st person I had contact with via email direct to the hotel. Trying to find a destination wedding in Greece was difficult when we 1st started planning as it was illegal to marry in Greece as a lesbian couple. However Franziska was gracious to us and said we can be blessed there with no issues. 2 months later the law changed, and she was just as excited as us. She was there for every email, every question. And then when we arrived she meet with us to finalise the details and was even there for our big day. Effie - is utterly amazing. She meet with us several times before the wedding and was there for the whole of the day. Checking on me in my room and my wife in hers whilst we was getting ready. Calming our nervous and wiping away our tears. She even dressed in our colour theme too. We really can not thank them enough for all they did. The make up artist and the hairdresser where also outstanding. 2 brides, 2 mother of the bride and 2 bridesmaids. Absolutely amazing work. This holiday was 10/10 and we will definitely be back.
Thank you to all the staff at the Blue Lagoon Village Kos, now 1 of my most favourite places on the planet. ♥️
