Egeo Easy Living Resort

Just returned from a 10 day holiday here and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a large complex ideal for families with 3 pools. My teenagers were too cool for the main pool, preferring the ‘quiet pool’ rather than the main pool where the music was loud with activities! Well kept grounds with lots of cats & kittens which kept our youngest entertained! The amphitheater entertainment was aimed at younger children and not very relaxing g as so we spent e evenings having g cocktails & playing card games. Lots of sun beds, towels you can replace daily, food and drink options all day. Our two rooms were a good size, one with a pool outside, the other on the first floor near the entrance which I preferred as it was more peaceful. The main thing for us was gluten free options as two of us are coeliac so it was reassuring to see all the buffet food labelled with symbols for dairy, vegetarian & gf. The F&B mangers were amazing and able to provide gf bread & pancakes on request. At lunch/dinner you could order gf pizza or pasta. The only disappointment was the dessert options- only gf was ice-cream, fruit or a small prepackaged cake. I was very jealous of the huge display of desserts & baklava! I chatted with customer relations and food mangers and the chain is looking into improving this. Good to know they are listening to feedback and want to make the holiday experience as good for people with allergies. We hired a car to see the island and driving was easy- cheaper to book outside the hotel. The bus to Kos leaves just outside the hotel but take cash as the card machine may not work (€2.5 pp one-way). Also took a ferry over to Bodrum, Turkey but wouldn’t do that again- hot, long queues and same tourist stuff to buy). If I was being nit-picky about the hotel I’d suggest the welcome desk work on their welcome- we arrived late at night after a delay and it was perfunctory at best! Other staff were all lovely. I’d fully recommend this hotel.
