This wonderful hotel is sure to impress, tempting visitors into a world where Cycladic tradition meets luxurious, contemporary design. The guest rooms are beautifully designed, bathing visitors in elegance and charm. Guests can enjoy a host of facilities and services at this wonderful hotel.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Greece. The hotel is exceptionally well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout including the room which are beautiful. The grounds and surroundings are absolutely beautiful and very picturesque.
What really makes this hotel special is the staff. Every single member of the team has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful during our stay. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and everyone always greeted us with a smile and saying good morning or good night, which made us feel very welcome. We would also like to mention the cleaning staff, who do a fantastic job every day. They were always cheerful and never failed to say hello.
The location is also excellent. For guests who are not staying all-inclusive, there are around 6–8 lovely restaurants right along the beachfront within easy walking distance of the hotel. If you want even more choice, there is a bus service into town that takes only around 10 minutes, runs until 2am, and costs just €4, making it very convenient for exploring the local area.
A massive special mention must go to Johnny (Janis). He was truly exceptional and one of the main reasons our stay was so memorable. He is one of the kindest, friendliest, and most positive people we have met. No matter how busy he was, he always took the time to stop and speak to us. Even when we were simply walking past the restaurant, he would come out to say hello and ask how we were doing.
Johnny’s dedication to guests is remarkable. He constantly had a smile on his face and made everyone feel valued and welcome. His positive attitude and genuine care for people never went unnoticed. We will both remember him long after our holiday is over, and he is a real credit to the hotel. He truly deserves recognition and a promotion for the outstanding work he does every day.
Amazing 5-star experience from the moment we were dropped off until the moment we were collected.
The reception staff, particularly the two ladies on the front desk, were incredibly informative and gave us some great ideas for local trips. Vasilus, the concierge, was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Breakfast is served just across the road and is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views overlooking the bay.
The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, and the rooms are lovely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in Room 212, which had a balcony with a sea view overlooking the pool.
Despite being close to many bars and restaurants, we were never disturbed by noise, as the music is generally turned off later in the evening.
The location is ideal, with stunning views and beautifully maintained surroundings. It’s only 25 minutes from the airport, close to the Old Port, and just 15 minutes from Mykonos Town.
This was one of the loveliest hotels I have ever stayed at.
I visited with four friends and we stayed in Rooms 221 and 222, which are connecting rooms. The rooms were immaculately presented, spotlessly clean, and felt very modern, bright, and spacious.
On our first day, we realised that one of my friends had left her bag on the Plane. The two ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to help us retrieve it, and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and assistance - throughout our whole stay.
Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help whenever we needed anything.
The pool area was beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean, as were the sunbeds.
Breakfast was excellent, made even better by the stunning sea views that we enjoyed each morning.
The location is perfect. It's approximately 10 minutes from Mykonos Town, 10 minutes from popular beach clubs such as Scorpios and SantAnna, and only 10 minutes from the airport.
I would return in a heartbeat and am already planning my next visit.
The beach directly in front of the hotel is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and breath-taking views. There are also plenty of restaurants along the beachfront, as well as sunbeds available to hire for as little as €20 per person.
We were the only group of girls staying here, if you are looking for more of a party hotel, I would stay in Mykonos town. This was just what we wanted mixing fun with relaxation. Would be perfect for couples.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mykonos.
I will be back!
This was a totally fantastic place to stay. The room itself was spacious and comfortable and kept spotlessly clean by a brilliant housekeeping team. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. The hotels position overlooking the Aegean Sea was perfect and it had a great sunbathing area and pool. All the staff were so genuine and friendly and provided an amazing service. A special shout out to Vasilis who was so welcoming friendly and passionate not only about Mykonos but the hotel, a real credit to the hotel. The location of the hotel was excellent two minutes from frequent busses into Mykonos town and also the water taxis to the beaches - though they weren’t running during our stay. Platy Gialos is a great location and having stayed there before in a different hotel I can now say I have found my go to hotel when visiting Mykonos can’t recommend it highly enough.
We stayed in an annex which was lovely, beautiful walkways and clean spacious rooms. Breakfast is in blue myth restaurant which looks directly over the beach, The food was great American style buffet The view from breakfast/ dinner was amazing Location ideal The staff were friendly and welcoming
