This property is located in the area of Kalithea, 7km from the vivid city of Rhodes. The island's airport is 19km away and in a walking distance from the property there are taverns, tourist shops, cafes, stores, mini markets and water-sport facilities. This hotel is a 5 star, family friendly property where the guest will find a 24h reception with multilingual staff, kid's club and animation team, lush gardens, lobby and lounge, wake up service, luggage storage, WiFi access, laundry and dry cleaning services, play area, private beach, water slides, outdoor swimming pools, beach volley, TV room, game room, entertainment, billiards, sauna, jacuzzi and hammam, restaurants, terrace with sunbeds and parasols.All rooms are spacious and modern furnished. Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
So I was previously here the end of May for a week with my friend and was looked after so well I persuaded my husband that we cancel our holiday to Crete and made him come here, arrived 29th August for 10 days. I can not fault the staff and service and welcome we have received! I kept in touch with some of the staff from my last visit and on returning it’s been the most amazing welcome back! I can honestly say I do not know what planet some of these people are on that give it a low score, it’s the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in! A special mention to all the guest services team that try their hardest to make your holiday special, especially Amalia, Kleo, Nicoletta & Amelia love u girlies. Then a special mention also to Philippos Krappas the food and beverage manager and to Gregoris the Sommelier both have been amazing and the fab, we did the wine tasting in their wine cellar, with Gregoris which was amazing. The staff at Masri including the lovely manager Miltos are so attentive & food is lovely. We had a junior seaview sharing pool suite around the Rodini bar and have to give a shout out to Marios and Earl and Antonio who always has a smile when serving us! We were lucky enough to be there for the 2 culinary wine pair dinners, one of which had a wine masterclass before the meal which was great and the à la carte restaurants are all lovely! Top tip download the hotel app and you can prebook all the À la Carte restaurants before you arrive, so there’s no disappointments at not getting booked when u arrive. If you don’t book directly with hotel and have a package holiday you can email the hotel to get ur hotel reservation number as u need this to log on to app. On our last day we ended up arriving at the airport to fly home to find our flight cancelled, we were stuck for 3 more days, I contacted hotel and they kindly managed to book us back in for the 3 days as we got left to fend for ourselves! Thank you to the lovely Emmouella the office manager and Vasiliki Front Office Supervisor for arranging for us being able to stay the extra 3 days. Another special mention is to the lovely Maria in the boutique, always so friendly and also the lady that runs the chemist on site, I hadn’t accommodated some meds for another 3 days holiday and she kindly rung the local pharmacy to arrange for me to get a prescription from there. Another shout to the wonderful DJ George, who I discovered loves soul & disco music like me and played some great tunes! Thank you also to Panos lonas the General Manager who was so friendly and approachable. This place is truly amazing and staff go above and beyond to try and make your stay memorable. Would I come again, omg yes in a heartbeat I will definitely be back again next year!
Absolutely stunning week away! The hotel is truly amazing, so much so that we will definitely be coming back again.
From the moment we stepped through the doors, it felt like we didn’t have to lift a finger — and we really didn’t. It’s honestly difficult to put into a short review just how good our stay was.
The staff were brilliant, the location was perfect, the food and drinks were excellent, and the restaurants, pools and whole hotel were absolutely stunning. Our room was perfect too and kept spotlessly clean throughout the entire week.
The whole place has such a relaxed, luxury feel and the staff genuinely couldn’t do enough for you. We came away struggling to think of a single negative thing to say.

Unfortunately for us, the negatives outweigh the positives. On arrival because we arrived later at night there was no explanation of how things worked around the hotel or tour. Surely this could have been offered for the next day. Our room Junior suite with Sea View and Sharing Pool was a waste of money the sharing part was with the whole hotel as was the sunbeds directly outside the room, on many occasions having to step over people to get to our balcony. The sea view was partial at best. The rooms themselves are dark and dingy with very rough walls. The in room service for the fridge was pretty poor, and never stocked up properly. On one occasion we had to phone 3 times for it to be stocked!! The À la Carte restaurants were one of the few good things about the hotel, the food in them was of high standard and well presented. The Buffet was very hit or miss, I found quite often that the food was tepid at best however there was a good selection hot and cold. There is no night time entertainment, the hotel has a very zen atmosphere. We found it slightly boring. As most of the people staying seemed to be European and did not mingle. Staff, we found staff to be ok as long as you were constantly tipping them. If you don’t they ignore you. The beach doesn’t really exist, as you have to walk to the sister hotel next door and have a small section of their beach. There is no beach directly in front/behind. Also the people from the family hotel next door come and go as they please. There were always children in the complex and in the pool. So not completely Adult only. Also the other hotels had music blaring down at the beach at weekends which was crazy. We certainly will not return.
We had a wonderful stay at Ella Elissa Adults Only! From the warm welcome at reception and the early check-in to our beautiful sea-view room with its well-stocked minibar, everything was just perfect.
The hotel offers a fantastic variety of swimming pools and excellent bars, with friendly, welcoming, and attentive staff who made us feel truly special throughout our stay.
One of the highlights was attending a special event at Masari Restaurant. It was a truly exceptional experience, combining delicious Asian cuisine with a wonderful selection of unique wines, all presented to an international standard.
It was the perfect holiday from start to finish! We left with wonderful memories, a desire to return, and the feeling that our next visit simply cannot come soon enough.

We had a fabulous week here as a family of four. The hotel is spotless and the staff are amazing. Even though the hotel was fully booked it never felt busy. We ate at 3 of the à la carte restaurants and they were great. Special mention to Larry who showed us to our rooms on arrival, and Gerald and Jennifer in the Lobby Bar.
