Lovely place to stay in Santorini! It’s quiet enough and a short 5 min walk from the centre of Fira. Staff and facilities are really good. There are plenty of room options, we received a free upgrade to a pool view room. Would recommend the breakfast as well, lots of choice.
We stayed at the Orama in June 2026 and this was our second stay, having stayed there previously in July 2024.
The hotel, pools and gardens are stunning and peaceful.
The rooms are spacious, quiet, well kitted and kept spotlessly clean.
The service by all staff was friendly and efficient. Particular should outs to Theo, George, Iraklion and Andrakis at the pool bar.
Just one point of constructive feedback. The coffee machine in the restaurant could be improved!
I stayed here for two nights. It was peaceful, clean, modern, and massive. It really is a resort. It is about a ten minute walk from the bus station in Fira, and a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. Even though it is not in the center of the city, it is a very easy walk with a dedicated sidewalk along the road. I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was too cold to swim, but I enjoyed sitting by one of the three swimming pools or ordering snacks and drinks from the bar. The breakfast is lovely and there were many options.
We enjoyed our stay at Orama. The hotel was well appointed with friendly staff and service. The pool and lounge area were the standout for this property, offering plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas and food/bar service throughout the day. Daytime music DJ would have added to the vibes. It is a short walk from the town centre, which was fine but if returning to Santorini, will definitely try a hotel cliffside and closer to shops and restaurants. They upgraded our room, which was lovely, with lots of space. Everything was immaculate and the toiletries were high quality. Although not travelling with a group, it would lend itself nicely to families or larger groups wanting to congregate.
Breakfast selection and experience a far cry from 4* Poseidon Hotel in Mykonos one day prior. No fresh cut-up fruit or quality charcuterie. (Processed cheese slices!) Same with service. Cold and indifferent, no large plates when I got there at 8:30 and still none when I left at 10 am. The omelette fryer said a categoric "no", that she could not scramble up the omelette for the woman ahead of me. Is that 5* service? Loose outlet in my room, I had to hold the plug in for the kettle to boil. Rating matters in Greece. It's €10 per night hotel tax for 4* and €15 for 5*.
