Our stay at Radisson Blu Zaffron Resort, Santorini was truly spectacular and exceeded our expectations in every way.

From the moment my mother and I arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness. We visited to celebrate my mum’s 65th birthday, and the thoughtful touches throughout our stay made an already special mother-and-daughter trip completely unforgettable.

What sets this hotel apart is undoubtedly its people. The level of hospitality is exceptional, the team doesn’t simply provide excellent service; they take the time to get to know you, understand what would make your stay special and continually look for ways to enhance your experience.

A very special thank you must go to Chara, who was incredible in helping us experience the very best of Santorini. She carefully tailored our excursions, experiences and dinner reservations around exactly what we wanted, while always providing us with different choices and thoughtful recommendations.

Chara recommended the incredible Caldera Gold sunset catamaran cruise, as well as helping to arrange a beautiful private island vineyard experience and visits to the stunning Santorini towns we had dreamed of seeing, complete with some wonderful surprises along the way. Roula who took us on the private tour was incredible throughout and was an expert taking us along to many beautiful places, made us feel we were on our own even with the crowds as she knew all the secret charms in Oia and Thira. Chara made every experience felt personal and beautifully considered when booking our experiences with her.

We would also especially like to recognise Redi, who took such wonderful care of us throughout our stay. He continuously checked in to make sure we were happy and to ask whether there was anything else he could do to make our experience even better. His care felt genuine and personal, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Redi also went above and beyond to make our days exploring Santorini seamless, arranging an excellent and reliable taxi service and helping ensure everything ran smoothly. It meant we could simply relax, enjoy the island and make the most of every moment.

A huge thank you also goes to Edward, George, Maria, Stavros, Sally, Andriana, and of course Chara and Redi, as well as the entire restaurant, catering, pool and hotel teams. Every person we encountered was welcoming, friendly, professional and genuinely happy to help.

Andriana provided us with a wonderful spa experience, which added another special element to our stay.

The food was absolutely stunning. Breakfast, lunch and dinner offered a beautiful variety, including delicious traditional Greek cuisine. The quality, presentation and service were consistently excellent.

The resort itself has a gorgeous luxury boutique feel, and the 13+ environment creates such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything is maintained to an exceptionally high standard, but despite the luxury, the hotel never loses its warmth or personality.

What impressed us most was the genuine care behind everything. You can see that the team takes enormous pride in creating memorable experiences for their guests. Their friendliness, positivity and attention to detail made us feel incredibly well looked after from beginning to end.

Thank you to everyone at Radisson Blu Zaffron for making my mum’s 65th birthday and our time together in Santorini so special. We arrived as guests and genuinely left feeling as though we were saying goodbye to friends.

We returned home with wonderful memories and very happy hearts.

This certainly isn’t goodbye, just until next time. We cannot wait to return to beautiful Santorini and Radisson Blu Zaffron.

We had a fantastic experience at the Radisson Blu Zaffron Resort. The staff were exceptional from start to finish — warm, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality genuinely made the stay.

The facilities are excellent and impeccably maintained, and everything runs with impressive organisation. Check-in was smooth, the rooms were spotless, and the pool and common areas were beautifully kept.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Santorini. We would return without hesitation.
