Santorini

Alesahne is a Beachfront Hotel featuring twenty eight stylishly decorated rooms with furnished verandas and balconies overlooking the black sand beach, the colorful gardens or the pools. Guests can discover Mediterranean and modern tastes at the seaside restaurant of the hotel or enjoy cocktails and refreshing drinks at the hotel's pool bar. Sunbeds and sunshades are complimentary for those who want to enjoy laying under the sun by the pool or at the unique and private black sand beach.

Kamari is a well-known village of Santorini especially for the long coastline covered in black sand. On the southern part of the beach, the dominant giant rock called Mesa Vouno rises from the sea creating an extremely attractive scenery, especially during night when the rock glows under the stars. The beach of Kamari is fully organized offering plethora of choices from restaurants, shops and bars to activities such as water sports, open-air cinema or charming bookstores. Santorini's airport is less than fifteen minutes away. A public parking lot and a bus station are only few meters away from the hotel offering flexibility in transportation for those who prefer to explore other parts of the island.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Fantastic amazing beautiful

We arrived here on the 22nd of July quiet late and Salvos was very helpful and took out bags to our room, all week he has been so helpful and nice, The cleaner Rula is also very lovely and everyday our rooms were cleaned and tidy. Costas is at the Bar could not be more helpful and nice he was simply amazing and a real asset to this place. Our stay here has been nothing short of amazing and also the reception staff are very very helpful...

We shall definitely be retiring I could not say anything bad about the place. The breakfast and meals here have been quality. Highly recommend a club sandwich. The views for dinner in the restaurant are just stunning. Thank you to everyone who made Ste stay here enjoyable. Emma, Summer-rose & Bella.

Lovely hotel and a great location!

Review by MariaWhite1964 Cardiff, United Kingdom

We have just returned home to the UK after spending 2 weeks at Alesahne Beach Hotel. We were greeted by Lydia who was very welcoming, helpful and informative. Lovely and clean, the staff are great, many thanks to Costas 1 & Costas 2 for being great bartenders - very courteous...

The restaurant in front of the hotel overlooks the beach which was prefect and if you're staying at the hotel, then use of the sunbeds is free. The safe in the room is also free to use, which was a bonus, these things certainly add up when you have to pay for them. Many thanks also to Stavros who was such a lovely chap and works extremely hard at the hotel - as do all the staff. We would return to Alesahne in a Heartbeat. Thank you all!

Horrific- Beware

This hotel should not be booked by anyone. Staff was rude and incredibly disconnected from any sort of customer service. With the exception of two- Salvos and the cleaning lady who offered smiles.

Our room- my 78 yr-old mother had to climb narrow steep stairs to an attic room...

There was another ladder to a “rooftop” “patio— not superior in any way. This should never be rented as it was dangerous, isolated and unsafe.

One window had a shredded old cloth screen that made us concerned Someone could enter our room via adjoining rooftops.

Hotel was filthy from orange mold in shower to grunge throughout. The cleaning lady was sweet- however years of neglect were rampant throughout.

Bar/food- we did not buy one drink throughout our entire visit- not because we didn’t try- but rather no one would wait on us- for over 20 minutes.

Kamari was a great location- this hotel experience a disaster. Clearly an example of ownership sucking out capital with zero reinvestment OR a hotel quickly on the way to closer.

Lovely hotel close to the beach

Review by John B Cardiff, United Kingdom

We visited in May 2022.The Hotel is situated on the front next to the beach in Kamari. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful...

Special mention to Stavros who serves during breakfast. He was very helpful and attentive and also the young man who works with him(sorry I didn't get his name.) The only down side is that there is no coach access to the entrance to the hotel so transfers drop you off and point you to a lane to access the hotel. This lane has rough cobbles and a set of steps before you get to the hotel. If you have heavy cases/mobility problems it would be worth ringing the hotel and asking for assistance on your arrival.
