This gorgeous hotel, built in a Mediterranean Cycladic style, is nestled in the town centre of Fira, on a quiet corner that turns this hotel in the perfect hideaway. Just a few minutes from the hotel guests will find a variety of shopping spots and cultural venues, as well as a number of restaurants and taverns. Kamari, the nearest beach area, can be reached by public transport links, as well as the Athinios harbor which is located around 8 km away. The hotel offers quality personalised service that will make guest feel at home. The hotel offers a fitness centre, a swimming pool, a world class spa and a wellness centre so they can relax and unwind. The hotel also features a cocktail lounge bar and the Ifestioni restaurant, where guests will be able to taste delicious specialties from the Greek cuisine.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My wife and 11 year old son and I stayed here in early September 2026. I honestly can’t fault anything. The hotel felt like it was a lot more expensive than it actually was. The location though was the best bit. Prior coming to Santorini we had no idea if the hotel was in a good spot or not, but now knowing what I know if you were to ask me to point at a map for the best spot for your hotel to be, this would be the spot. If you visualize exploring Santorini as a little maze, then this hotel would be at the entry point. The pool was great for around lunch time, when you’re traveling you have it in your head that you can just wander around all day long but it doesn’t really work like that when you’re over 40. You need to come back and have a rest after lunch and then hit it again later in the afternoon or you just won’t have the energy to last all day so hanging by the pool was perfect. Breakfast was included for us though I can’t speak for everyone’s booking but it was great with heaps and heaps of food to choose from. Our room was just a simple room with a bed and a fold out for my son and it did us just fine, we aren’t precious and the room was very new looking and clean. And as for the atmosphere, well it’s in Santorini and you know it. It’s beautiful.
Lovely helpful staff on all areas of the hotel, especially Angelika who was very friendly and seemingly always on shift! Decent breakfast and the pool area was very good. However room was small, bathroom tiny and the “upgrade” of a room with a balcony was a balcony over the front of the hotel having a noisy restaurant that played the same soundtrack every night.
Perfect location, within a minute from Fira town centre, yet not affected by noise nor crowds. Having travelled extensively, the welcome and hospitality towards my two teenage children and myself, were exceptional from reservation to departure. High commendations to Pantelis, Elena, Glykeria, Emfritis, Angelika, Kleopatra, Dimitris, Mario and Niko all of whom made our stay feel like a home from home. We had a lovely spacious room and appreciated the aesthetically pleasing decor, attention to detail and cleanliness throughout the hotel. Breakfast and dinner offered varied options, both including Greek cuisine. Santorini is phenomenal in its own right, but Aressana made our stay absolutely amazing and I would not hesitate to return to this hotel. Thanks to staff for contributing to an absolutely amazing stay!
Wonderful Hotel; great location; great room; great amenities; great and helpful staff.
We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Aressana Spa Hotel and Suites. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the hotel is very centrally located on the island. The hotel even provided a welcome food tray with wine upon our arrival and even gave us a free 1 hour visit to the spa room at no extra charge. The included airport transfer and breakfasts were also a huge plus. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
