Located on the western side of Santorini, this complex is nestled among the high cliffs of Imerovigli that lie above the majestic Caldera, its volcano and volcanic islets and the deep blue Aegean Sea. Fira, the island's capital, is some 2 km away and is a great place for anyone looking for busy nightlife or shopping. The apartment complex itself offers the dream holiday setting. As soon as its guests wake up they will be greeted by the mesmerizing sea views. The line of the horizon, where the sea meets the sky, forms the natural backdrop to which they can have their relaxed and pleasant dinners. Those who want to relax can either visit the nearby beach or take a swim in the warm open air swimming pool that is located on the venue's premises. They can also enjoy a refreshing drink from the poolside bar, while lying on the sun-loungers with a good book in hand.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Fabulous way to end our 10 day trip in Greece. The Astra suites were impeccably kept the service was excellent and the views of the ocean were picture. Perfect. The icing on the cake was the hot, delicious breakfast delivered to our private veranda each morning. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Santorini.
Had really high expectations for this place and somehow they exceeded them. The staff is attentive, thoughtful and genuinely concerned that you have a wonderful time. The rooms and facilities are beautiful and the view is the best in all of Santorini. I can’t say enough about this place.
Astra Suites is an amazing hotel with exceptional services, indescribable unobstructed views of the Caldara and spacious spotless accommodations! It was in a perfect location that offered peaceful tranquility. Breakfast delivered to your balcony! The pool and pool bar were heaven to relax and enjoy the view and a short taxi ride at night to Fira and Oia. Their Five Senses restaurant was incredible with outstanding services! You won’t be disappointed!
I stayed at Astra Suites with my best friend for two nights in September, during a trip through Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and Naxos, and it was one of the highlights of the whole trip. The views are breathtaking. We watched the sunset over the caldera from the terrace instead of fighting the Oia crowds, and the view from our balcony left us speechless every time we stepped outside. An afternoon at the pool looking out over the caldera was pure magic.
The staff were outstanding: warm, attentive and genuinely caring. Eleni in reservations arranged our dinners at The Athenian House and Selene, plus our port transfers to and from Athinios, and everything ran perfectly. The transfers alone are worth booking through the hotel, since the port road is steep and busy.
The atmosphere is peaceful and elegant, and Imerovigli is quieter than Fira or Oia, so it feels like a real escape. Astra isn't just a place to sleep; it's one of the main experiences of a Santorini trip. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
