Nested high up on the cliff, where the sun sets into the endless blue of the Aegean Sea, in the heart of the serene village of Oia, this residential complex is located about 20 km from the airport and port. Its convenient location, however, doesn't take away from the feeling of a reclusive oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the popular tourist destination.Guests can enjoy spectacular caldera views whilst taking a refreshing dip in the hotel's main pool. Each suite offers breath-taking views and all the features a seasoned traveller may need for a comfortable stay. All suites are elegantly furnished in calming tones and shapes, and the feeling of luxury is enhanced by the soundproof windows, the complimentary welcome bottle of wine and the private verandas with outdoor Jacuzzi.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had the most amazing experience at Charisma. The staff made the entire experience, especially Maria, Kostas, and Sammer. They were all so kind, informative and helpful. Their friendliness put us at ease and made our trip very relaxing. They advised us with recommendations on where to go, helped us set up a couples massage, and brought us an amazing breakfast every morning. We genuinely felt like they cared. Our room was gorgeous and in a prime place to see all the sights in Oia. The cleanliness was outstanding and we were always able to get what we needed.
The hotel is in a fabulous location in Oia. The sunsets are beautiful and the views from the hotel are amazing, as you see water and stunning architecture everywhere. The central part of town is a short walk from the property where you are met with lots of quaint shops and stunning restaurants. Highly recommend the onsite restaurant too. Everyone on staff is so kind and they provide exceptional hospitality. While dining, we loved the food, drink and dining al fresco experience. An absolute must property if visiting Santorini, Greece.
Truly exceptional place to stay. Staff are wonderful, polite, helpful and friendly. Food is lovely here and the breakfasts are just stunning. The views are to die for and the rooms are just amazing. We had a honeymoon suite with jetted tub. The jetted tub isnt hot water, its cool...although compared to the main infinity pool I guess you can say it is slightly warm. The terrace area was beautiful to sit on and stare at the views with your endless options at breakfast. Each morning you were given a tick list of what you wanted to choose. I mean, theres no need for lunch after the breakfast but if you do, their chicken ceasar salad is amazing!
The only thing we didnt realise was the steps and the amount of steps from the pool (at the bottom) to the top. Then when you get to the top there is still steps and steps. Its endless. Thankfully our cases were carried for us!!
I saw a traveller tip on here which was to go on a step machine in the months leading up to your visit...its a very good tip! Its hard going especially in the sun. How the waiters do it with these huge trays of food i do not know! The cleaners also do it with their supplies and heavy towels too. They all work so very hard.
We loved our visit so much we are returning for our 15th Wedding Anniversary in June this year and we cannot wait. We have been wanting to go back since our first day last year! Fantastic place. Look forward to seeing you later in the year.
Wow, where to start. The view. Insanely beautiful, the reason to come to this island. The resort has a front row to the best show in town. We came in early October and it was chilly and windy- the hot tub was a necessity. The hot tub does not get quite as hot as I like it, but it was still quite enjoyable. The beds/pillows at this resort are extremely comfortable. The 'double' bed is really just a king size bed. When I was researching this resort I had a hard time finding that information- so now I can confirm, it is a big bed. The attendants go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. Peter in the bar and restaurant is our friend now! He makes incredible coffee! The food at the resort restaurant is incredible. We had a couple really good meals there. I actually found the food at the hotel restaurant to be better than most anywhere else on Santorini we went. The breakfasts are huge and so much food! Highly recommend the orange cake! The attendant carried our luggage for us, brought us a bottle of wine on check in, and really just made us feel special. I cannot offer any improvements, as I can honestly say this resort is worth the money. Don't hesitate to book!!!
Simply stunning location. Friendly and professional service. Love the drinks during sunset - nice touch. Spotlessly clean and one of the best breakfasts ever.
