When i look back to when we went in May, the hotel was fine, not a 5 star, maybe 4 star at a push. Santorini in general was beautiful for the views but the back streets were not. Full of young loud american  girls. The town of thira where we stayed was brash with expensive jewellery shops, fast food shops. The restaurants facing the caldera have excellent views but that comes at a price. Other resorts on the island are not that pretty and i wouldn’t want to stay there mainly because the only reason we went to santorini was because we wanted to experience the beautiful views. Would we go back, definitely not, much prefer skiathos any day

Not so good Santorini

Great location, on top of the hill with sunset and sunrise views !  This hotel has the perfect layout with a beautiful landscape, pool and it's not to small nor to big. The staff is very attentive, friendly and quick even at the end of their tourist season. I loved my stay and would not hesitate to go back! It's a 10 minute walk to town which is just enough to be quiet.

A great stay that I want to do again!

Absolutely superb, the hotel, the food and especially the staff were just amazing. Such a beautiful relaxing hotel, only a short walking distance from the town. 
We arrived just before midnight and we're quickly shown to our lovely room, in the morning the manager came to the restaurant to welcome us to the hotel, she apologised that she wasn't there to greet us the night before, and when we left she came to say goodbye, the service and attention to detail was impeccable.

Beautiful Tranquil Hotel

WOW! What a Truly wonderful week staying here. From the moment we checked in until departing the hotel, the service was exceptional.
Nothing was too much trouble. Cindi at the reception, Dora and Virginia working at breakfast and by the pool and even Nico the life guard. They all went above and beyond to ensure that our stay here was the very best. Always happy, smiling and very attentive. 
The room was large, bed very comfortable and we  always had hot water in the bathroom! Room facilities are great as are the toiletries if you’ve forgotten your own.
Eleni Tzanou, the hotel manager went out of her way to introduce herself to us on arrival and every morning. A true professional encompassing a genuine personal touch to our stay. 
The food and drinks by the pool were good, once again amazing service by the ladies. 
When we left the hotel, Eleni came to say goodbye. We stay in hotels all over the world and have never had a manager go above and beyond. 
We have visited Santorini for the last 15 years and stayed all over and in many different hotels. 
We will be back next year and we will be staying back at this hotel without doubt. 
Thank you for a magnificent stay.

Excellent Majestic Hotel to stay

This town hotel is very nicely situated a few minutes' walk from the town centre of Fira and offers its guests wonderful views to the Aegean Sea. The closest beach lies around 6 km from the hotel. Guests may rent a car or take the public transport to visit most historic sites of touristic interest on Santorini. This is a wonderful place to relax after a long day exploring the island.
