This luxurious hotel, built in neoclassical and traditional Cycladic architectural styles, is located beside the famous black sand beach of Perissa and offers its guests magnificent views over the sea and the mountain range, creating an amazing secluded atmosphere. The hotel offers guests magnificent facilities and excellent service to ensure a perfect stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Two nights in a row, we had the pleasure of spending time with Nick and Elsa at the open air hotel bar, starting at 'Beer O-clock,' with their large tap brew (Mythos) for the happiest hour between 8 and 9PM! Nick and Elsa create such a fun, welcoming environment and made it feel like we were spending our night hanging out with our best friends! From the cocktails crafted specifically for us on the spot, to tutoring us on our Greek, we have had such a great time and will keep dropping in until the end of our trip! Come down and check them out!
Lovely hotel, Great food and very clean. We were greeted by the Paul on the reception who gave us a warm welcome. We were absolutely blown away by the kindness and hospitality from Elsa, Maria and Lydia who looked after us in the dining room and the bar. They went over and above to make sure our stay was special. Elsas cocktails were the best on the Island. We cant wait to return next year.
We found the hotel to be very nice. Our room was very nice overlooking the pool. Wish however we had not booked half board as the food left a lot to be desired and not to our taste and we could have eaten elsewhere if we hadn't booked half board. On the day of our check out we had to leave our room by 11 am but our pick up wasn't until 2030 hours. We asked if we could have a late checkout but our room was not available for that. Instead we had to pay 150 euros for a room we would only use for the day for showering and storing our cases otherwise wandering about for hours with no facility to shower and change. BEWARE we thought this was a ridiculous amount to pay. In hindsight we would not book such a late transfer and eat elsewhere.
This has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. We booked a luxury double but I have stayed in nicer hostels. The room was so basic, there was just one cupboard with a hanging rail which I had to stand on a chair to reach. There was nowhere to put anything away so couldn’t unpack. The bed was concrete, built out of the wall which is bizarre and very hard. Even the balcony was awful, just a concrete wall so couldn’t even see the view. There were no tea or coffee facilities, there was a bar but they played either loud music or football.
The restaurant was in a hotel down the road, we only booked bed and breakfast and I am so glad we didn’t go full board because the food wasn’t great and unless you got there as soon as it opened there wasn’t much left.
The grounds of the hotel were pretty with flowering trees and there were two pools, both unfortunately not heated. The only positive really were the staff, they were really friendly.
Fantastic hotel and staff are the best I've experienced on many holidays. Perfect time to come and quiet and relaxing. Weather has still been great. Hotel is chilled and restful. Room was just perfect for me. Cleaned daily and sheets changed several times in 10 days.
Bar is lovely. Huge thanks to Elsa, the food and beverage manager who is an absolute diamond. She makes the place! I will genuinely miss her. Her side kick Maria also can't do enough for you. Nic behind the bar's a scream but the whole team made my holiday!
The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice. Only one observation is that the hot plates don't keep the food hot such as the eggs. Again, Elsa and Maria look after you like family.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful when I asked anything of them.
A lovely hotel in a fantastic spot but it's their staff that make it what it is.

I booked half board but wouldn't do so again. I found the restaurant, detached from the hotel, an odd place. A few members of staff in there deserve a screenplay to be written about them! Nuts! That does not detract from Vegerra. See you next year. Love the place ❤️
