The hotel is situated in Lagana, one of the most popular and beautiful tourist resorts in Zakynthos. The beach stretches for 9 km and is one of the longest in Greece, and the hotel is only 50 meters away. The crystal clear waters are ideal for swimming and water sports. The centre of Laganas is 700 meters away and the town of Zante is 7 km away, and both are serviced by public transport. Hotel facilities include a breakfast room, TV room and a games room. The complex is set within stunning landscaped gardens and effortlessly combines the natural beauty of the island with the cosmopolitan nightlife, sandy beach, unique facilities and services to offer a memorable holiday.Each room come well-equipped and has a sea or lake view, balcony, bath or shower.Hotel facilities are sweet water pool with whirlpool and separate children's pool. A variety of watersports are available on the beach.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We went for a 4 night stay at the end of September - we are a couple in our late 40’s and had a great few days away. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were good. We thought the food was pretty decent for a three star. Typical all inc breakfast including freshly made omelettes. Lunch you can use the buffet or the snack bar serves good hot dogs pizza burgers and sandwiches 12-6pm. We had lamb shank for lunch one day which was gorgeous. Show cooking on an evening you can get a fresh pasta dish made for you but there is a bit of a queue. Was good if you don’t mind a bit of a wait. There is a bit of entertainment on an evening including bingo, quiz, karaoke type thing. One night we watched Fakir and Fire show which was really good. We were a ten min walk from the main strip and we went to the loft one night to watch football and there was a singer on. Still lots going in but not the rave scene of the summer. For us it was a perfect time to visit.
We never struggled to get a sun-lounger but that may be because it was late season. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and would recommend. Good value for money for us.
Only slight negative for me was the drinks are a little poor. The white wine on tap was awful. Rose was okay. But they were happy to open our own bottle on an evening and we bought a bottle of brandy on the way out at duty free which lasted us. Beer was okay. Some of the cocktails were okay. I would say if you are particular just but a bottle on the plane.
Cats- there are cats in the hotel, they are well looked after and all have names. They belong to the owner. Please be nice to them - we were on the ground floor and loved our little visits from Diego and Kanela in a morning.
All the staff are friendly and helpful- be nice to them and they have lots of time for you. Receptionist Malvena was very lovely.
Great hotel with a beautiful view, friendly stuff, and a relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean and well organized. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.
Can't fault the staff who work around the clock, keeping the place clean and tidy, always happy to help. The rooms are basic and tired, the was basin is next to the wardrobe which is very odd. Beds were comfortable and clean. Food for breakfast and lunch was really good but evenings not as nice as expected and not hot either. No chance of getting a sunbed around the pool or even on the grassy area so be prepared to pay daily to go on the beach. Pool area doesn't get the sun all anyway. All inclusive drinks, very weak and syrup sweet, served in small plastic cups. Bar area for the evening again not much choice of drinks, one person serving and watered down spirits. The hotel looks lovely from the outside but it's not lived up to my expectations or ratings. I know it's Greece and the standard is slightly lower but it wasn't a cheap stay.
Food was disappointing. The quality has gone down since 2024. Cheaper options used. The cook station and meat was good but things like cheese, cold meat, yoghurt and butter had gone down in quality.
Had a lovely stay at poseidon beach hotel. Beautiful beachfront location. Great atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly staff. Everything was clean and well organized. Amazing staff
