Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed here for four nights. The only five-star aspect of this place is the food — the selection and quality are tremendous. Whoever is behind the kitchen is a genius.
Unfortunately, that’s pretty much where the positives end.
The buildings are chaotically scattered around the property, with some of them still partly unfinished. There are staircases leading nowhere, pallets and building materials lying around and occasional sewer odours. Overall, the place feels more like an abandoned construction site than a finished resort.
And the so-called private pools? Oh my! Dont trust the pictures as they are so deceptive. With vehicles and people constantly passing right in front of you while you’re swimming, there’s not much privacy to enjoy. 😂
The nearest beach is about a 10-minute walk away and is mostly rocks and pebbles, so beach shoes are a must.
The milky-looking pool water is rather unpleasant, as is the tap water. The lock on our room door also got stuck every single time, requiring quite a bit of effort to get in.
But the worst thing by far is the restaurant.
The buffet area is downstairs, meaning that once you’ve collected your food, you have to carry all your plates up the stairs to the second floor. A rather strange design choice.
And once you get upstairs, you enter living hell. It is literally a sauna. Instead of enjoying the amazing food, we had to practically force it down just so we could get out of there as quickly as possible. On one occasion, my wife nearly passed out from the heat, and I had to get her downstairs immediately.
Not installing air conditioning in the restaurant was a huge mistake. There are a couple of fans, but as you can imagine, they are completely inadequate.
All in all, despite the excellent food, this place is nowhere near five-star standard. Three stars would be much more appropriate and, in my opinion, completely fair.
Currently have 1 day left in this hotel. Il start with the rooms. Our room is in block 4 which is the bottom end of the resort approx 5 min walk up a steep hill to get to reception or the buffet. Rooms are good and cleaned daily. However for the first 3 days the area was still under construction.Block of 8 rooms being worked on and had to try and relax by the pool like we were on a building site! I complained to TUI and their response from the hotel was that a lorry was doing work outside the hotel.I will post videos as evidence. The buffet is a small room with the worse choice of food I’ve ever had.Very poor. And then you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to eat!Which is an outside terrace that has few fans loads of wasps and flies and is boiling.Nothing worse than sweating whilst eating your food.We went out most evenings as so bad. Snack bar very poor choice and drinks ok but again you have to walk up steep hill to get a drink/snack.By the time we get back to the pool we’ve drunk our drinks.Just found ourselves getting a big bottle of water. There’s no evening entertainment just the same drink hutch as daytime with tables and chairs. One collection of people’s cups a day and today we came back from the beach and I cleaned up myself. I am so surprised this has been classed as a 5 star hotel. Honestly been to a range of hotels the last few years and the service and general facilities are nowhere near what we’ve experienced before. If you have children I definitely would not recommend this hotel as there is nothing for them to do and food is very poor for them. I have complained numerous times to TUI whilst out here and offered a £50 voucher I wanted to move hotels but nothing available close by. Definitely won’t be returning here.
Private pool was treat with a nice view to the sea. Some construction noise. Very good food in the buffet.
I stayed here for 10 days this place is like the most relaxing place I’ve ever visited absolutely spotless, the food is like just back home in Scotland, the staff is amazing especially George from reception he always make things better for you and loves a Deal 😊 We went all inclusive and drinks and food are amazing, definitely recommend this place to anyone sunshine is best 32 Degrees pure sunshine every day not a cloud in the sky - Get booked everyone 😊
We are on our last few hours at the hotel and have to say it’s been lovely. All the staff from General Manager to reception guys and dining room staff are all really friendly and always visible and happy to chat…nothing is too much trouble.. special mention to chef Nikos and buffet server Allan.. they were so accommodating and following a conversation about me being vegan they both looked after me so well with a fresh meal every evening… thank you. The room was spotless and outside areas are cleaned daily. We also asked to keep our room for a few extra hours until we leave and luckily for us it isn’t being used until later in the day so the General Manager agreed without the usual €10 per hour ask which is refreshing and unusual. Overall a great relaxing stay… Thank you!
