Bugibba is one of the most wonderful places to relax on the island of Malta. With its spectacular scenery, magnificent walks along the shores of the Mediterranean and its laidback lifestyle, it's also the perfect place for the Coral Hotel. This is a boutique hotel in every respect. With 40 rooms it is pleasantly small scale, but the level of service is huge, and the amenities refreshingly individual.
Bugibba is full of attractions, and the Coral Hotel is certainly one of them. The smart blue and white exterior and tastefully decorated rooms mark it out as something special.
So do the facilities. They include a smart outdoor pool, fitness room, together with restaurant, bar and games facilities. A masseuse is also available by appointment for an additional fee.
On top of its own facilities, guests at the Coral Hotel can sample the facilities at the neighbouring Canifor and Cardor Aparthotel – should they feel they need them.
With an emphasis on your comfort, the fully air conditioned rooms at the Coral Hotel all have a balcony and en suite bathroom. (They accommodate up to four people). Other facilities include satellite TV, radio and hairdryer. And you can rent mini-fridges and safety deposit boxes from Reception too.
With all the benefits of a beautifully appointed boutique hotel, as well as all the facilities of two adjacent hotels, Bugibba's Coral Hotel is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy Malta.
A boutique hotel of only 40 rooms occupies an extremely convenient location in Bugibba only a few minutes walk to the resort's promenade and its many attractions including shops and restaurants.
The hotel has a reputation for its friendly atmosphere and good guest facilities, which have been rated as equivalent to those of a 4-star establishment. Guests can also use the facilities at the neighbouring Canifor and Cardor Aparthotel.
Together with husband we had booked our holidays back in end of January through Otel.com and couldn't wait to see what Malta has to offer in April. Unfortunatley due to the outbreak of Covid-19 with borders and the hotel closed had no chance to do it. After months of asking Otel.com to change our reservation first and finally to refund it later just to hear we got no rights to do it 😡 because their hotel supplier (which is just the fancy name for their another sister company name) refuse it! So anyone with the idea of booking anything through Otel.com please be warned!
On the other side thanks to all lovely people working in Coral Hotel we had all information about what really happened to our original reservation (was cancelled without our knowledge or permission by Otel) and how we aren't just a single case like that. We can't stress enough how kind all reception staff in Coral Hotel is especially dealing with a large number of people asking about their reservations in post Covid times...
So big THANK YOU to all people working for Coral Hotel you're doing great job! Keep it going and hopefully one day we can be lucky enough to meet you face to face 👍
Spent four days here. The staff were very friendly. Ask for a room in the annex at the back as it is much quieter at the weekend when they tend to have events on...
Lovely breakfast, comfortable rooms. Ideal for a couple of days
This place was so bad we only stayed 3 nights of the 7 all inclusive that we had already paid! We managed to eat one meal here ( the food was very poor quality, even the juices and milk) everything was additional charges ( pillows?) We moved on to a lovely apartment and cooked our own food , coral hotel was a let down, dont waste your money
Not the best hotel, staff all except the young girl were unfriendly and not accommodating and it's the same faces doing different jobs at different times. Asked for the TV remote only to find they want 5€ for the pleasure and then discovered the batteries were also faulty. If you ever watched carry on camping with Mr fiddler it's much the same everything is extra, everything has a price. Anyway never did get TV remote working...
Food was apparently shipped in from another sister hotel, it was OK but mainly just warm and not very exciting. Small bar area with a good range of drinks but again not enough staff so usually had to wait for a drink. Room was ok'ish, toilet cistern separated from the wall by a piece of polystyrene 🙄 view was ok from the balcony though. It was located away from the main road so it was quiet though in fairness but a few feet away lots of low life's on the street and a bit intimidating. Definitely would not recommend, it was cheap but we ended up moving to another hotel along with many others this week.
Small hotel. 500 m. From the busy tourist area.near restaurant and shops...
Bus stop outside the hote. Feel like 3 plus hotel.excelent food and cleaning. The staff like to help you. The pool on top are small but ready to use.
