After reading the poor reveiws I was apprehensive about visiting The Relax Inn BUT I shouldn't have been as we had a great stay. Friendly reception staff and the cleaners were exceptional every day. Large room with comfy beds. A minute from Bugibba Square and bars, sea front etc. Breakfast was basic but nice and we managed to chat to a very interesting Irish man who was staying there ,a defrocked Priest from Sligo , who was on the run from the authorities and he knew lots about places to visit in Malta. Lovely stay and we will be back again.
The worst experience ever had in a hotel!
A/C was not working, the rooms are different from the pictures and the staff where not willing to help us! If you want to come to Malta, I would advise to check an other hotel
Avoid ! Do not believe the pictures ! We stayed here for 4 days with friends over Easter and where so I start ! We arrived early and walked into reception where we waited for 10 minutes before anyone came to great us , we expected our rooms would not be ready as we arrived before check in tine , but reception said they could store our luggage, we were taken to a room behind a curtain that I can only assume was the store room for the breakfast (will come to that later) our cases were thrown under the bread and cereal and we were told to come back later ! When we arrived back and collected our luggage we were then told only 2 people at a time could use the lift or it would get stuck ! And after looking at the loft we took the stairs ! We arrived at our room to find the balcony doors did not lock and if you have children please do not let them out onto the balcony as it’s not fit for purpose ! And make sure you bring your glasses if you want to watch the tv - that’s if you can find it as it’s the size of a postage stamp with wires hanging out everywhere ! So to the bathroom that at a glance was the best part about the room - until we took a shower and found a window in the shower that has no lock and when you slide it open you can see all of the pipe work for the adjoining rooms oh and the window to the shower of the room next door , so if you both open your windows at the same time you could see eachother in the shower ! Back to the breakfast , crusty croissants and some cheep cereal in a dusty old room that looks like a funeral home! And just to top it off the people in the room opposite we’re smoking weed , so the hallways and our rooms smelt all night every night ! On the plus side we slept well !
Location was ok Atmosphere was a bit off staff are very rude when asked to try open the door he huffed and puffed at us and told us if we made any noise he would call the police and escort us Rooms were filthy and beds are filthy I will attach photos below Value of expect more after flying from Ireland too here not up too standard And won’t reply when you text them either
Location was good,The staff was rude and aggressive. The atmosphere was on edge. Rooms were like a crackden. It was £800 and our rooms got cleaned 1 time out of 7 days. Don’t go if u want a relaxing holiday or sleep. Perfect if your used to Blackpool crackdens.
