- The Village Boutique and Spa - Adults Only

Nestled down a narrow alley, the hotel opens onto a bright, sun-filled world of calm.
The lobby takes you to the pool deck and garden, an ideal location for unwinding. You have the opportunity to prioritise your health and well-being by selecting from a variety of massages, beauty treatments, and pampering packages. The curative therapies available, centered on healing and self-nurturing, are unmatched.
When you fancy a touch of village atmosphere, the main square of Naxxar is only 700 paces away. The town has retained its authentically Maltese character, making it easy to get lost in its maze of narrow alleys and back streets before settling in one of the cafés, bars or restaurants off the main square.
If you're after some island exploration, at The Village Hotel & Spa you're not far from anywhere on the island. In Malta, every step brings a new discovery, and The Village Hotel & Spa is a sparkling treasure waiting to delight.
Valletta, Mdina, Mosta, Sliema and many other hotspots are around 20 minutes away with excellent public transport connections from Naxxar.
Every room features a private ensuite bathroom and boasts splendid views of the garden or the inviting pool area. All rooms come fully equipped with the latest contemporary conveniences, including a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, individually controlled air conditioning and heating, underfloor heating in the bathrooms, and private balconies furnished with chairs and/or loungers, offering the perfect setting for ultimate relaxation while enjoying the scenic views.
During our holiday in Malta, we stayed at The Village Boutique & Spa. A lovely place to completely unwind on the mattress beds by the pool. Small-scale, beautiful rooms with good beds and a rain shower, and helpful staff. Away from the hustle and bustle, while Mdina, Valletta, Qwara, etc. are still very close by. It is located on a narrow street, but parking nearby was always possible. Good breakfast that we could enjoy outside on the terrace in the tropical garden. We often ate elsewhere in the evenings, but there was plenty of choice at the hotel as well. Many nationalities, but all guests who come here for the peace and quiet.
Nice comfortable hotel, friendly staff and excellent food. However, the outside pool area has just enough sunbeds for hotel guests, without the hotel offering day passes (which we did not know about) to people to use the facilities - on a "first come first served" basis, which left hotel guests trying to find space. The Saturday and Sunday we were staying at the hotel was very busy with large groups of day guests, including noisy children and inflatables in the (small) pool. So much for a relaxing getaway at this "boutique" hotel. The bathroom needed some attention too.
I'd read about this hotel being a quiet retreat, ideal for relaxation and to recharge the batteries, it did not dissapoint. From the moment we arrived, the team were extremely helpful and friendly, our room was lovely, overlooking the pool area with a small balcony ideal for evening drinks. The pool area is like a colourful oasis with palms, plants and flowers surrrounding the crystal water. Gentle music accompanies the scene and there are numerous loungers, some double, to simply relax and read o lie back on after taking a dip. Bar service is excellent and a very good range of cocktails and local beers to chose from. Back to the room, and the menu of pillows is a great idea, I definitely go for a firmer pillow, so I could get the exact fit to my preferences. We paid a little extra (10 euros each) to use the spa facilities, I had an ice bath (freezing!) and there was sauna and infra red rooms, we definitely got great value. The indoor pool and hot-tub we sometimes had all to ourselves and indoors or outdoors, definitely no fighting over sun loungers, plenty of space for everyone. Location wise, great for exploring, close to Valletta (we used Uber) and the closest town Naxxar, a short walk, really friendly people in the local bars and cafes of which there are plenty, we visited La Stringi Italian, just down from the Parish Church, the owners were incredible, so welcoming and the pizza, probably the best I've ever tasted, they are obvously very proud of every culinary detail. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful little hotel. It gave myself and my wife the much needed break we were looking for and I'll be booking again. Enjoy!!
We chose The Village spa, Naxxar, as St. Julian's has plenty of building work, now. The breakfast is good, and Chef happy to prepare eggs of choice to order. Lots of fresh fruit, meats and milk alternatives, too. Reception staff very helpful and booking taxis both ways easy and good value. Bottled water is provided on arrival only. As the tap water isn't recommended, most guests would welcome a daily top-up. There's an extensive menu and other good restaurants within 15 mins walk. The spa facilities were fine, some of the treatments pricey - overall though the stay was a good one, thank you.
The location is quite and property is exceptionally well maintained. Spa facilities really good and the food was also delicious. Very helpful staff as well and definitely worth the money
