We are currently staying at the Bella Vista hotel and as usual enjoying. Probably more so now as some of the British have gone home. They were a disgrace to be near...
Trying they're very best to cause trouble, find fault and what's more, trying to get money back.
In particular a young couple with a little girl. The little girl had chicken pox upon arrival. The parent's said they had been bitten by bed bugs !!! Mattresses are fully protected. Basically they had been bitten by mosquitoes. They changed rooms, had trashed the first room. It sometimes shames people to see this kind of behaviour as sometimes we are all treated the same if we come from UK. The little girl's parents had foul mouths, on fit for the sewer.
Drinking all day long, walking around without masks. Shame for the lovely staff to have to put up with them. Why the hell do they bother to go on holiday. (To try and get a freebie). I think they were deluded !!!! Maybe on something, who knows? We won't allow people like that spoil our holiday.
Good old Bella Vista !!!!!!
We booked 12 nights all inclusive at this hotel, arriving late afternoon very tired after a long journey we had to drag our cases up steps inside the hotel, there is no ramp and staff do not assist no matter what your age. Hotel is clean and rooms changed daily by very friendly staff. Food average but we always found something to eat and mostly it was quite nice. For some reason mousse is a desert favourite and is offered every evening in different flavours, we got to like it 😃. We did not enjoy any of the all inclusive alcohol that was available as it is very limited and not great quality. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious overlooking the pool, unfortunately the sun is only on the pool until around 2pm. There is usually karaoke most evenings if you like that sort of thing and occasionally a really good more professional singer entertains. Great bus service directly outside the hotel which will take you to all the great site seeing places, Valletta, golden bay etc just 2euro. Location is a little far out and takes about 15-20 mins to walk into the main square and promenade but worth it when you get there. I would not return to Malta but it was a nice break and very scenic.
The hotel itself is extremely good, but the Food is awful, the repeats itself every 7 days and I would say is worst I have ever experienced from a hotel and I regularly travel aboard. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past and the food has been brilliant but the last time was 8 years ago. If you like your food do not stay at this hotel...
The rooms were dated and in poor condition. The bathrooms were unclean. The breakfast was poor - no fresh fruit. The gym was in an awful state...
There were no toiletries provided in the bathroom and not even a bottle of water provided in the room.
We have just returned from the BELLA VISTA after spending a lovely relaxing 28days .and after reading some of the comments. I am not sure we have been in the same Hotel. In relation to people complaining about the food there is always a good choice from salads to mains to sweet..the rooms are cleaned every day fresh towels every day .the staff always make you feel welcome...
from reception to the dining room always staff we can't thank them enough for making our stay so relaxing under the conditions.
