I've been to this hotel around 20 times and have always had a brilliant holiday. Staff are so friendly and helpful. In fact, anyone I've come into contact with on the island is very friendly and welcoming...
I've made friends for life on this beautiful island. Can't recommend highly enough.
On arriving at the hotel on the 13 March after the government announced a mandatory quarantine for all visitors to the island, both we and the hotel were left in a difficult situation. Unlike the holiday company that never helped us throughout our solitary confinement , the hotel staff tried everything that they could to make our stay comfortable . I'm sure we will be back
Stayed in this hotel in March, standard run of the mill hotel.. Was clean and beds were comfortable.. Breakfast good with variety.....
Staff generally friendly and helpful, especially the bar/cafe... Only drawback for us was its residents were mostly elderly couples (felt like a nursing home at times) but they have to holiday as well.. All in all nice hotel.. Bus stop to airport across the road from hotel...
Standard multistory seafront hotel. Rooms are basic average and not dirty. Mind you we were in the room one day when the chambermaid knocked on the door...
We went on the balcony to give here her space and after 3 or 4 minutes my wife said "She's quiet", and I went into the room to find she'd gone. Beds were just covered over and bins emptied. That was however a 'one off'. First impression is always reception. This one got my back up from the minute we arrived. No smiles and standard monotone introduction (instructions) to the hotel. We arrived around 5 pm and there were no other people waiting at the desk. I asked for a safe key and was told that the cashier (?) wasn't back until 8:30. Went to our room and unpacked so decided to go and get our bearings. As we went through reception we noticed that there was a different lady there. I asked about the safe key and she provided one straight away with no problem. I suppose this is where we are all human beings. Receptionist 1 had presumably had a 'Bad hair day'.
Just a short break for 4 nights Arrived at hotel and it seemed very nice, clean and welcoming Room was clean and fresh with nice bathroom, balcony very small,we were situated at the inner of the hotel so had the courtyard to look at,this was ok but anyone so much as sneezed it would echo everywhere. Rudely awoken at 3 in the morning by someone having a row in the courtyard! Food was ok,but nothing special, one day the steak served was inedible as it was chewy! Went for a trip to Gozo and comino, this was a rushed effort and felt like I was being hearded around like animals!didnt spend the amount of of time in Gozo that we were promised,so was a complete waste of money.. We are in our early 40's and we're the youngest there, felt like we were in a nursing home, but boy Can those oldies move fast the minute the restaurant doors open. ,! Nothing much to do around the hotel, The open tour bus was a great way to see the island and good value for money. Bus conductors on the island are extremely rude We won't be returning to Malta
