Booked in very quickly and throughout our stay the reception staff could not do enough for us, so helpful! Our room was spacious, and was cleaned everyday with the towels being changed Good sized balcony overlooking the seafront.
Good range of beers, spirits and cocktails, happy days!
Decent range of food and we never waited long for anything.
Pools were cleaned everyday, and always plenty of sunbeds, quiet pool and there were two poolside snack bars with an excellent range of lunches. The luzzo you have to book but worth it.
Good location for getting about, we would come back again no problem.
It's staff are excellent.
The hotel is well connected with the rest of the island, close to a bus stop where buses depart in every direction, which is a big plus when visiting the island and you don't have to waste time changing. The rooms are spacious, clean, consistent with the description, cleaned daily. On the minus side of the noise outside the window from the street and the view at the same time of the sea and the garbage dump, which is on the other side of the bay, but when the wind blows from that direction, the smells are average...
Wifi problem on the upper floors (we had the fifth) and even when ordering additional internet at the reception (on the plus side - they didn't take the money from us in the end) nothing improved. Breakfasts the same every day, typically English, but everyone will find something for themselves. Dinners very good, a large selection of different dishes. There are no evening entertainment included in the description of the hotel. Currently (we were in October) the hotel is under renovation so on the upper floors it can wake up drilling before 8 o'clock. Personally, I would give the hotel 3 stars, certainly not 4.
Very disappointed with this hotel- below standard. Unclean. The room and corridors have a very unpleasant smell...
Food after paying all inclusive I could not eat in this Hotel the place is unclean and just couldn't stomach to eat in an environment such as this. So thankful that we have access to Luzzo across the road complete life saver. My son loved it due to their new play area. The all inclusive menu is very different to the other available to other guest all inclusive was very limited. The only thing i enjoyed was a burger. If your looking for a nice holiday please don't waste your time you'll be very disappointed. Dirty pool areas- dirty corridors. I am still here until Thursday and if given the option I would definitely change hotels. I am told this hotel will close for a full refurb soon but should close now and not be solely motivated by money when clearly the hotel is below standard. Pictures online are very deceiving.
Lovely hotel and AMAZING staff just not a lot to do at all within the radius of the hotel. We are unsure if a lot of places have closed down due to covid or if this is how Qawra is. The hotel adult pool was lovely...
Never fighting for beds and facemasks worn everywhere. Access to the sea was easy too. The hotel could do with a good deep clean and TLC throughout although, was liveable. No evening entertainment or much life at all throughout the hotel. The two entertainment girls were very repetitive and mainly only for the kids. Locals are allowed into the hotel for pool access which is nice depending on who is being allowed in... Half of the hotel was closed therefore, do not feel we got our full money worth at all.
We have been coming here for 20 years (timeshare) and this year arrived at the end of September. A few familiar faces and overall all the very hardworking staff were welcoming. We were not allocated our usual room on the top floor and as the hotel is about to close for 18 months for major renovations (from 4 to a 5 star) our room was tired and poorly designed. Due to Covid restrictions, obviously the restaurant facilities were limited...
We absolutely loved the " Luzzu" restaurant for lunch and dinner. Food choice and quality extremely high. "It Tokk" was also great for breakfast and dinner. The food portions were extremely generous. We resorted to requesting half portions!
All the hardworking staff were friendly and efficient, even though they had come to the end of the season so were obviously tired BUT they continued to smile and treat everyone extremely well, Nothing was too much for them. A special mention must be made to Nicola, Suzanna and Akos from the restaurants. They just kept on being efficient and friendly.
My husband & I look forward to our next stay when hopefully our actual stay in our room will have no reason for us to complain.
