Qawra

You'll never tire of those views over the Qawra seafront. And from the Sunny Coast Hotel, you'll be able to savour them every day. It's a spectacular sight at night too! with the lights of Qawra twinkling in the smooth, clear waters of the Mediterranean.

The Sunny Coast Hotel assures guests of a very warm welcome and a really friendly atmosphere. Its range of facilities and customer-focused approach makes it a very popular choice with all sorts of holidaymakers.

Enjoy the astonishing views of the Qawra seafront from the Sunny Coast Hotel:

The Qawra seafront is one of the must-see locations in this part of Malta, and this is one of the best hotels to enjoy it from. With its central location, you'll have easy access to shops and restaurants, and there are even more options for shopping and eating out in nearby Bugibba. (With a hotel restaurant and snack bar too, you'll be really spoilt for choice.)

Of course, the beach is one of the big attractions. But the Sunny Coast Hotel has a private lido area, (as well as an indoor pool) and a rocky beach of its own. That's just one of the benefits of staying here. And there are many others.

You can enjoy all sorts of sporting activities, from scuba diving to squash, when you're a guest at the Sunny Coast Hotel. There's an excellent health suite too with hydrotherapy and sauna facilities as well as a gym. You'll also want to make full use of the pools, there's a heated indoor pool, an outdoor pool and also a children's splash pool.

The accommodation is of a similarly high standard. All apartments come with air conditioning and heating and private bathrooms. There's a real feeling of space inside and room for a private balcony, sitting room and kitchenette. Facilities include satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, and safe*. Two bedroom apartments and sea view rooms are also available, just ask for details.

Staying at the Sunny Coast Hotel gives you a wonderful outlook on Qawra and a great representation of Malta at its best.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

The staff is the best! Clean rooms, beautiful view and nice bed! Thank's a lot for help, meal and your smiles! Moldova will never forget you. We've spent 7 days in Malta in December. This hotel has a good location, near from interesting places! Happy new year!

NIGHTMARE

The accommodation in this resort is very shabby and dull. There are no windows in the living/kitchen area, bathroom and one bedroom consequently no natural light, so have to have the lights on day and night. Kitchen area very poorly equipped...

No plug for kitchen sink, kettle not working, small freezer compartment in fridge broken, only one pan supplied, no oven trays, no bowls, no gravy jug so very difficult to self cater. Shaver socket in bathroom not working. Very small T,V, with only one English language channel (BBC world news) Main road outside like a building site with lots of construction going on. Road full of dust, rubbish and gravel. When walking down road have to dodge large number of lorries delivering materials to these sites. Hugh cranes (6) working in the area around this resort. This resort is not up to the standard of RCI exchanges and I recommend that RCI do an unannounced check of this resort. I feel it is damaging to the reputation of RCI

Not the best place to stay in Malta

Review by GG201500 Reykjavik, Iceland

If you are looking for a place with a lot of space and you don't care so much about furniture, a comfortable bed and location maybe this is the place for you. I booked 2 nights here as was the only hotel I could find that I could get a refund in case my flight was canceled. I booked a 1 bedroom apartment that was large, more or less clean (if you don't look too much) and as it was empty it was quiet...

Please note that the bedroom and bathroom windows are to an inside window that you could hear next door, that have windows to the same small patio but because it was empty was not a problem. The pool area was empty and it look like nobody was cleaning the chairs or anything there. There is a gym and an inside pool that were also open but empty. The bar there was not working. The location is far from any interesting spot in Malta, the only attraction is the aquarium. Please note that there is no drinking water in tap. I would recommend this place if you are traveling in a group or family and you need space and you have a car as is hard to get by with public trasportation. But if you are traveling solo is not that great.

Apartment very dated

Review by 689beckyl Reading, United Kingdom

We stayed at their 2 bed sea view apartment. Pros: lovely Seaview, relatively spacious for our family of 4, indoor pool was better than expected, well priced (stayed in November), luzzu restaurant by the hotel has a great soft play for the toddler

Cons: lots of construction in the surrounding areas ie dusty, apartment not clean, lumps of dust on the fan unit, walls not sound proof, kitchen equipment limited, odd layout of the apartment, no recycling, no air conditioning, apartment was very warm even in November with fan units on full blast, cannot imagine what it would be like in the summer!!

Conclusion: would stay again if on a limited budget and needing 2 bedrooms, but definitely not in the summer

Holiday from Hell - this resort is unsafe and an absolute fraud

Review by Livia W Cotgrave, United Kingdom

Sunny Coast Resort...this resort is without any doubt the worst place I have stayed to...unprofessional staff, unsafe facilities, outdated apartments with old cranky and smelly furnishings, stained beds and awful bathroom facilities!! We reported the balcony balustrade as a huge safety hazard to fall from 4th floor, the hotel receptionust Dylan made a note in their "book" but no-one followed up and we have been forced to continue staying in the apartment as the hotel refused to provide us with alternative suitable accommodation. I strongly recommend you think twice before booking at thua resort as you will be ruining your holiday. We booked with confidence via RCI timeshare exchange, double disappointed that RCI have put us at risk and responded very slowly to our concerns and it took them three days to movr us at a different hotel
