50th birthday trip
Stayed here for my 50th. Very cute hotel. Breakfast was nice. Rooms were great & comfortable. Very quaint. Would definitely stay here again

it’s good, but need some stuff to work on!
no fridge intheir room or safety deposit box . Also a problem with draining WC , on other hand. It’s perfect Location little bit noisy but double window. blocks the noise ,staff helpful , the bed. very good, nice balcony ,boiler and coffee ., I give it to Stor. And half.

Lovely refurbished hotel in ideal location
Lovely refurbished hotel, very quiet room. There could be a few more facilities e.g. laundry, coffee lounge, and maybe more draw space but overall a very enjoyable experience. Staff very friendly. Close to bus stops bars and restaurants.

Old and tired. Can do better.
Quite good location, on the waterfront. The room itself was a letdown, nothing like the bright images on the website.... Old and tired, small wardrobe, small desk and chair, small wall-mounted flatscreen with a few grainy channels, Tiny balcony, facing a side street – however there was still a ton of street noise. Closing the door made no difference. Wifi worked fine. Breakfast was quite good – a reasonable selection of food, on the 6th floor with great views of the bay (get there early for a window seat). There’s a small pool and sunbeds on the roof.

Do not stay at The Carlton Hotel !
The hotel is very basic , very noisy , does not provide water or a small fridge and we are in the middle of a heatwave . To add to this they have overcharged my credit card by £ 240 Euro and have refused to refund me. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL !!! Clearly only interested in money and not the customer’s experience .
