This is excellent value if you are staying in Sliema.
A three star hotel, maybe a little tired and frayed at the edges but it's not pretending to be anything it isn't.
We stayed in room 32, its a very large room with a double and single beds, lots of wardrobe space and ensuite. The view from the balcony is fabulous, it was a treat to wake up to it every morning.
Rooms were cleaned every day, beds made and fresh towels.
Breakfast is cereal, bread and cold cuts of meat, plus juice and coffee.
The staff are courteous and helpful whenever we asked anything of them.
The location is excellent, from the bus stop across the road you can travel all over the island and there is a direct bus route the X2 to the airport.
With this hotel you get eaxctly what you pay for, good clean basic accommodation and this reflected in the price.
very clean Hotel nice staff lovely sea view.Near bus stops bars and eating places.Booked again for April will be on my own this time.Loved the room I had last time sea view and balcony.perfect for getting around the island with hop on off bus .See you Aprilxx
My apartment reservation had a problem with no room key issue near AUM and I stayed at Roma Hotel one night for saving money from extra fees in case of further trouble and transportation. The female clerk was kind for the check-in but she complained that they had no 3€ coin change for the 20€ banknote payment. And she tried to ignore further returning the coins...
But she asked a man to go out to get some coins and I received few coins back before taking the lift up to my room.
My room had no window lock. It was just a handle on one side of the window and the window glass was loose. I had a taping and some snack bottles to put around on the window for the safety. More over, the room door was a knob with a switch on it inside and someone can use a spare key to open from the hallway. I wake up every 2 hours or 3 with the alarm to be safe after the police contacts about other cases in Malta to find the safer accommodation. So, I contacted this window lock missing case to the police for the safe accommodation questioning. Cheap locations have some risks as the reality in Malta.
Basic cheap. breakfast was same everyday didn't mind that. Room cleaned and fresh towels...
Free fridge, airconditioning/heating. Lovely Chinese underneath. Walk to the right great town centre.staff not over friendly.
Was ok for the price. AC heating, extra blankets, mini fridge, tv, water kettle, ok shower. But wifi was not working and we were told "oh it does not work up in the rooms". No microwave. There was no "do not disturb sign" to put out on the doorknob. So the cleaner just entered while I was in the shower. Breakfast was included, but nothing vegan to be found basically, except tea, coffee and bread. The room was very very drafty, beds were under the windows, terrible draft...
It was acceptable in the end, we got used to it, but because of the lack of the wifi, no do not disturb sign and the terrible draft, I can only give it 2 points out of five.
