Get in touch with the idyllic Maltese way of life in Sliema, one of Malta's most popular holiday hotspots. And where better to stay than the wonderful Waterfront Hotel? With its four-star facilities and five-star outlook, it's the perfect place to enjoy the holiday lifestyle. Dip into the Mediterranean café culture; enjoy beautiful walks along the sea front, or indulge yourself with a little bit of shopping along the Promenade. The capital city, Valletta is just a ferry ride across the bay, or hop on a bus to the island's entertainment capital, Paceville.
It's no surprise that the Waterfront Hotel is one of Sliema's most popular four-star hotels. Its views, its facilities and its idyllic harbour-side location put it top of the list for many holidaymakers. Added to that, you've got your pick of shops and nightlife, clubs and bars, cafes and restaurants, all within easy striking distance of the Waterfront.
And don't forget comfort. That's top of the list here where spacious twin and double rooms are kitted out for cosy downtime. All rooms come with cable TV and radio, minibar, safe, hairdryer and direct dial phone. And yes, you can choose a room with a wonderful sea view for a supplement.
With so much to explore in Sliema and Valetta, don't forget to spend some time enjoying the Waterfront Hotel itself. There's a restaurant and snack bar, a comfortable lounge and even a hairdresser, all on site.
Malta has it all – sun, sea and shopping, as well as a rich cultural heritage and plenty of good food and bonhomie. Choosing the Waterfront Hotel gives the perfect base to get out there and soak it all up.
The Waterfront is one of Malta's most popular 4-star hotels. Occupying a prime location on Sliema's seafront promenade it has excellent guest facilities and spectacular views across the harbour to Valletta. The local ferry connects over to Valletta regularly and is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Close at hand are the shops and restaurants of Sliema and the lively centres of entertainment in Paceville (a short bus ride away).
Stayed at the Waterfront for 5 nights. Its location is unbeatable and it is very close (approx. 5 minute walk) to the Sliema ferries with ferries to Valletta as well as the sea front. Very good value for money as well, with breakfast included...
Great amenities too, there is an indoor pool, however, the hotel grants you free access to the MedAsia Playa beach club, which is about 20 min walk away. We had a room not with a sea view, but the room had a terrace and we had could still partially see the sea. The staff were super friendly and attentive and went out of their way to deal with our requests (special shout out to Alex at the reception!). We had some maintenance issues in our room e.g. fridge and shower head not working, smell of cigarette smoke and ash on the bathroom floor, lighter in the room etc., which they tried to sort out quickly. These people are really customer/client-oriented and always have solutions to issues. You may want to consider upgrading your toilet paper supplier, unfortunately it felt like sandpaper and was crumbly. Also try and maintain cleanliness of communal areas like the corridors and hallways. Other than that, I would return because of the great and attentive service.
We had a great experience with this hotel. At first we got a free upgrade to the sea view room. The view from the room is unbelievable...
The staff was very nice. Room was new. Breakfast was perfect. Location was ideal. Try the bar cocktails 🍹. Amazing! If I go back to Malta ( I hope so) I would stay at this hotel again
I would like to thank you for you service today ..your staff were excellent and made sure everything was to our satisfaction .. compliments also for catering for gluten free and lactose intolerant guests. You made my daughter's day special....
thanks so much. Decorating the room for the birthday girl was also a great touch.
Rooms very clean with all necessities and excellent view to the sea. Very reasonably priced items at Lobby bar. Location perfect walking distance to shops bars and restaurants.
We both really enjoyed our stay, the view from the hotel, even from the side balconies of the building is really nice, great sight to see the harbour and valetta so close in the distance. Staff are beyond nice, never experienced kindness like that before, will do anything for you. Room was lovely, spacious, very clean, modern, super air con etc (balcony slightly tight, I had to move the table to get around it but once that's done can sit two on it perfectly, personally that stuff doesn't bother me but it's good to let others know)...
Breakfast had lots of choice, you can ask for as much as you like, again staff are all superb.....it is a great location to get around, bus stops everywhere, ecabs app recommended to get around, so cheap, quick and easy, loads of shops and restaurants nearby, various things are within walking distance. We actually were shocked to realise on the first day the pool wasn't on site, we hadn't looked into it in too much detail, but if you know before going it is no big deal and we got used to it immediately, it's a nice little 15 min walk to get to a nice complex with a variety of pools, one for music, one for kids, one very much for a chill out. Enjoy! I have no doubt you will.
The hotel has a great view and in a great location... the rooms are so neat and clean and the washrooms are perfect. But the best part I feel is the staff...
They are so good and warm and welcoming and we were made to feel so special everyday at the breakfast table, I will always give the hotel experts stars for that! Highly recommend
